Thank you, Aaron! As a 74 year-old, and formerly long time CNN and MSNBC watcher let me say it again, thank you! I am now retired, but during my 30+ years as a public school teacher one of my prime goals was to help my students find their voice and then be unafraid to let it be heard. I've long said we need to be listening to our young people because they have an important perspective that we older folks need to hear. Even at my age I am an avid follower of yours on not only here on Substack but, yes, on TikTok as well. Keep going at it Aaron! You are doing great and important work! And once again......Thank you!
With all due respect to the Justices, I do not know if they understand the intricacies of AI, algorithms and new tech in general and neither do most people to be fair. But one thing is for sure , it is all here to stay and TikTok is not the only social media or commerce site like temu, for example, that is vulnerable to interference from the outside as well as from within . This is especially true now with all of the political goings-on all over the world. As for Suckerberg situation that is an indication right there . If we leave the meta platforms is someone reputable keeping an eye on the misinformation there? As a teacher most of the educational institutions and programs I deal post on there. Also, as a teacher, I feel I am obligated not to post anything opinionated on social so I have been mostly a watcher and listener for now . When I do comment just facts, on TT , I try to be careful but even then I have had a warning and a comment folded with no apparent violation. I am grateful for what you have posted on TT and Substack , and I look forward to continuing following here. Thank you.
Thank you Aaron. My only problem with SUBSTACK is that as a senior with a small SS income is that I can't afford to pay for all the journalists I'd like to follow.

After the election, I’ve found myself migrating to Substack and Bluesky much more, and away from legacy media. If the ban comes(or not) I will be very happy that you are here as well.
