As soon as we got the results of the election, I pulled my 401K out of the market. Since I contribute 17% of my fairly decent salary and a portion is matched by my employer, my investment compounds at a decent rate even without being invested in stocks. I could not have imagined how bad things could have gotten but I knew the economy would suffer. I am 1 1/2 years away from collecting social security. I am extremely concerned I will never be able to retire.
