I am getting ready for bed this evening, but wanted to make sure you heard this major news: Tesla began a search to replace Elon Musk as CEO, according to the Wall Street Journal. The search began about one month ago as sales have dropped for the company and the company’s stock continues to fall.

The Wall Street Journal notes that Tesla Board of Directors began looking for a search firm to begin the search for a CEO replacement at the beginning of April. Conversations eventually prompted Elon Musk to decide to return to Tesla in May, taking a back seat at DOGE. While it’s unclear whether this search process will continue, Elon’s time at Tesla may be coming to an end.
