True. And. If we don't allow people to "join the cause" later, even if for self-motivated reasons, we'll always be outnumbered. Better late than never. AND yet, you're still right. We can continue to advocate for prioritizing human rights over capitalism while we fight a common enemy.

I agree with you. Even if people or companies join the side of speaking out against this administration and what they are doing, we should not turn our backs on them. We actually need all of them in order to make change. It should not matter why people or companies have come to a decision to oppose Trumps administration. If we don't accept them then we are no better. I get many didn't come to this realization until it affected them. Sometimes people have to have a that personal effect for them to be able to see what is actually happening, but people make mistakes. We all make mistakes but we need to accept them and welcome them to the side of giving a shit about our country. It's going to take great numbers in the primary elections to overcome what is happening. If we still even have a country by then.

And I totally understand that. It takes some deep soul searching for me but I know deep down it's the right thing to do and we need everyone we can get to change things in the primaries. For me it's bigger than how I personally feel toward people who voted for this. It's about our country and the men and women who died fighting for us. It's about the world we are leaving for my grandchildren. It's about right and wrong. I want our country back bad enough to accept those who don't support what's going on anymore. My feelings for wanting our country back are more important to me than the feelings I have toward those who were supporting this. But that's me. I realize everyone needs to make their own choice.

Policies of Trump, the Board, and the local government will be repudiated during May Day marches

A coalition of 16 political, student, community, and social organizations will demonstrate this Thursday, May 1, as part of International Workers' Day events, carrying a message against the policies of the Fiscal Control Board and the government of Puerto Rico. Among the organizations are several student groups, as well as EDUCAMOS and the "Promises Are Over" campaign.

Trump's policies endanger billions of people around the world

In its annual report on the state of human rights around the world, Amnesty International issued a stark warning: the world is experiencing an unprecedented crisis, intensified by the so-called "Trump effect," a destructive influence that is accelerating the global decline in fundamental rights.

Bezos is not being nice. He does not want to lose even $1 and is saying “stay with me. this is not my fault.” It IS his fault! He has spent tens of millions to support this regime. He just doesn’t want any consequences. Shocker. Stay away from Amazon! ALL media should be calling him out for this manipulative BS.

I think ALL BUSINESSES SHOULD! I think this FANTASTIC .. it shows he is “acknowledging what he allowed to happen, and showing no price gouging

Regardless, of nice or not .. ALL BUSINESSES should show an actual account unlike the grocery stores (I kno around my area are trying to profit more by the cost of groceries .) they (grocery stores should 100% do the same thing! And should have been doing since all this began!) at least Bezos is “kinda realizing his initial thought”?

He needs to lead with his actions. Complaining about losing money does not make him a good billionaire. The bar should be very high! These men keep their own bars very low and keep ours very high. We all need to expect him to, and make him, work to gain any ounce of respect and every penny he is begging for.

Amazon is still the worst. Amazon works hard to crush small businesses and harm their own workers. One example: Last Saturday, April 26, they actively worked to undercut national independent booksellers’ day by putting their “book sale” on the same day and price gouging even more. And Bezo$ likes nothing better than tech bro-ing around, destroying American democracy.

Bezos finally realized that the boycotts against Amazon for not only buddying up with Trump, but also his attitude against Unions caught up with him. The tariffs created the proverbial "stick that broke the camel's back". Still not going to help the consumer, but he's hoping by doing this the higher prices won't cause the finger pointed back at him.

definitely a great starting point to choose the brand that has the “least evil” footprint. although all brands all big companies are exploitative. but it’s unrealistic (especially as an american consumer where only like 3 big corps own all the other smaller brands, essentially creating monopolies) to completely avoid big brands. at this point, it’s all about what’s cheapest, who can we give the e least amount of money to, if that makes any sense.
