The people will have to step in because absolutely nothing will happen until we finally realize that.

Rep. Jamie Raskin found a loop hole meaning the people in his administration are not immune so they could face consequences.

They are because Trump will just pardon them.

I wish the whole pardon process would be abolished. I don’t care for it for either party in power.

I think there should be a massive overhaul and there be genuine reason for it.

I wonder if the Supreme Court would hear that case if presented to them?

If a proper judiciary review is followed, which we do not have now, SCOTUS would be required to hear it. In fact, I am wondering why SCOTUS isn’t involved from the get go, forcibly, if there is a complaint about an EO.

If an action of the federal employee hurts in one way shape or form a state or deprives a state of guaranteed benefits, the state can sue the individual employees IN STATE COURT and there is nothing the Trump Cartel can do about it.

Currently, having given complete immunity to him, they would not

Huh?

Stephanie Bisignano-Bunce's avatar

The supreme court issued a ruling essentially saying the president is completely immune for anything done during the presidency in an “official capacity” Trump can do whatever he wants with no repercussions.

Well, the Supreme Court could weigh in and take away the powers they should have never given him or any president for that matter.

The military arrests him for treason and trying to undermine our country. If that doesn’t work the people remove him basically mass numbers flood the White House, Congress, DC and Maralago at the same time. By then the number of pissed off people will be greater. Who knows where that will lead.

My understanding is that federal judges can deputize law enforcement personnel if law enforcement under the authority of the executive branch refuse to enforce court orders against the executive branch.

I’m quite sure that you should delete your remarks, or get reported. Your choice.

Your comment has nothing to do with the topic we are discussing.

Let's be real....nothing will happen. It has been proven time and time again that he gets away with anything he wants. It's infuriating the laws he gets away with breaking.

Teflon Don....he has made it a career to wiggle slide lie and threaten his way out of consequences. Didn't the SCOTUS at least discuss the scenario that we are facing before they made their decision? I can't believe they would be so obtuse.... I want to go back and read the dissenting opinion now....

Aaron: With all due respect: Donald Trump has defied/ignored Judicial Orders all his adult life.

If he cannot “buy off” a Lower Court Judge, he Appeals Judgements all the way to a corrupt Supreme Court who almost always “have his back”!

Nothing will change until someone “grows a pair “ & throws him into Jail for the rest of his life!

“Be still my beating heart “!!

I do not think Trump is immune civilly. The immunity decision was about prosecution for criminal offenses.

The Court Order will be fought and fought. That’s the Trump way. Who knows when the employees will actually get their jobs back?

These tactics are why the government should be SHUT DOWN!!!

The Trump administration is not operating by the Constitution of the laws they swore to uphold and protect.

SHUTTING DOWN the government is the ONLY NONVIOLENT way to bring the Republicans to the negotiating table.

Judicial didnt do anyone any favors when they made presidence of a residing president being immune to prosecution if its in duty of country. In fact it feels almost yielding power to another branch. OH WAIT! Thats happening now!!
