I saw this, and found myself yelling at my phone a couple of times. Number one complaint - press invitation is not a "privilege" but a responsibility!!! Our governments have a responsibility for reporting to us. We pay them, and trust them.

If we were in the 1800s or earlier, like these republicans want the United States to be, they would have been accused of treason and would have been hanged by the gallows in public execution. This is the only way I would agree with going back to that time briefly to see them hanging for being treasonous traitors! These punks should not be disgracing the offices of "we the people." Frankly, they should all be prosecuted! 🤬😤
Isnt the job of the WH press secretary TO DEFEND everything the President says? And NPR is a mouthpiece for mainstream media, they NEVER HAVE an independent report on ANY SUBJECT. I stopped listening to them YEARS ago as they just put sugar on the same news event as CNN and the like.
Nowhere in the job description does it say the press secretary should defend everything the president says. She is a supporter of the administration which she should be in her role but it is her arrogant, demeaning attitude toward the professionals she’s speaking to that is particularly irksome.
You know it's interesting, there have been many press secretaries on both sides that I might not have necessarily loved; but she is really intolerable. You know, it's not what you say-- but how you say it; and she is probably the most combative, confrontational, defensive and off-putting one to date. To me it comes across not as strong and confident from the administration, but actually the opposite. A little " doth protest too loudly". 🙄
