Journalists should boycott the WH briefing room. But that’ll never happen

Agree. Has KL ever said ANYTHING worth quoting or repeating? No. Press should start talking back to her, and booing her. She treats the press like dirt; why are we being so collectively respectful in WH press briefings? Make her burst into tears and quit!!

She is such a dirty little Cunt. I am not sorry for saying so. What’s unfortunate is that she’s from my fucking state.

Stop it. Just stop it. She may not be able to think independently. She may be a toadie. She may be naive. She may be brainwashed. She may be utterly under the thumb. She may be entirely frustrating and biased and listening to her may feel like nails scraping across a chalkboard. But please leave off the degrading filthy descriptors and show some clever thinking yourself.

No no, Darling, Clever thinking is only used for people who are worth the effort. She’s gone out of her way to insult the people of my state and talk down to us as if she were better. Very happy that I didn’t vote for her or her demented grampa.

Look Jan, If you don’t like whatever it is I have to say, feel free to scroll. In your lifetime, you might hear and read a lot of words that offend you. Just like in my lifetime I’ve heard KKKaroline say some words about me and people who look like me. I will never apologize for it. :-)

That wouldn’t take much to make her cry and make her quit

They all need to push back

If they boycott then who’s gonna ask the tough questions and who will report the truth? Boycotting is NOT an option.

Nobody’s asking tough questions now, and there are no truthful responses being given

I don’t want it to be just conservative media and Tass in the room, bc then what’s the point of a press briefing if it’s just reporting from the propaganda machine?

Kaitlyn Collins from CNN asks lots of questions and if she doesn't get her answer she'll keep at it with KL till it pisses her off and she'll refuse to answer Collins question. Trump even made a comment to Kaitlyn Collins that he should ban her from being there.

I mean you’re not wrong, but if they’re not there then they can’t for sure. Who will be an impartial observer?

And only Trump's pet networks, such as One America and Fox, would be there.

They are not asking the tough questions! Little miss Micheal Jackson nose can only spew lies, dangerous lies, misinformation & whatever she is told to say. She is a joke & there is no real true, information to glean from those " briefings:

No. We need more free press in the WH briefing room, not less!! This whole post is about how the WH wants to control journalists and silence ones who oppose them. LONG LIVE THE FREE PRESS!!!

Excerpt from your article: Aaron

Thank you.

“The First Amendment guarantees freedom of the press not as an abstract right, but as a vital check on power. A free press is the cornerstone of a functioning democracy — the Fourth Estate, charged with informing the public, exposing wrongdoing, and holding the powerful to account. When the press is intimidated, controlled, or co-opted, that entire democratic structure begins to collapse.”

“This is not theoretical. This is happening now.”

I wonder what this administration would do if no one showed up for their performances? None of what they say is truthful anyways. That being said, of course I believe the people have a right (not privilege as Ms. Levitt would have us believe) to question our leaders. But, what good is it to just give them a stage to deliver their same old propaganda day after day? I also think it’s been good to be able to catch them in some of their lies (like the guy that explained to Karoline how tariffs work) but the cult members just keep repeating the same phrases they’ve been taught no matter what evidence is in front of them, so I don’t know. I have never been more thankful for responsible independent journalism, so thank you for what you are doing!

There are already traitors among you. The most powerful thing you can do is to organize a widespread boycott. Maybe rely on 1 or 2 sleepers for keeping tabs. We are all at war now. In the "old days" correspondents were the first to identify threats and dealt appropriately. You need to wake up and become the war time reporters that you are--even if you don't know it.

I can’t help but wonder, with this level of concern, how the Whitehouse Corespondent’s allowed themselves to be bullied into uninviting a comedian because trump wouldn’t like it. I do however share your concern but we must resist at all levels. Including not being bullied into different choices, it is also putting a limit on free speech when a comedian can’t make fun of a president or any other politician for that matter.

Now this one is actually almost new news, first seen yesterday. But Aron is right, seemingly a trivial seating issue, it really IS a matter of further press cotrol by the Trump whitehouse. The protests of this move should include loud protests from CBS, NBC, ABC abd PBS television news programs. Whar do I expect from them? Silence. I hope I am wrong. I hpoe I see a loud segment from each this evening, but I am not holding my breath.

Keep it up Aaron Parnas. Good job today.

When exactly will the military leaders step in? They appear cowardly from this angle. Did they forget their families are here, or did they evacuate? The Constitution is being ignored. And domestic enemies are taking over.
