What the fuck is wrong with these people. What the actual fuck. Those bitches rioted on J6 over spilled milk and we’re not turning Congress upside down? Something drastically needs to change, these people need to be shook into caring for the American people they are supposed to represent and protect ! Actual lives are at stake. Every day the gap between us and them gets bigger and bigger. I’m deeply disappointed in this lack of humanity.

It's only a speculation, but I think that's what Trump wants. He WANTS to provoke us into violence to have an excuse to declare martial law and postpone elections.

Visit the 50501 website and the indivisible team to inform yourselves on when the next protests will be in the month of June!! We need to get out in very large numbers in all 50 states to fight back. There is no turning back. No one else will come to our rescue. We and only we together can rescue ourselves. Let's do what the South Koreans did for their country. They didn't sit down and let their government turn into an orange circus like we did here in the states. They were out there protesting day in and day out until their wannabe dictator was outed then apprehended. Let's not give up. Because that's what they want.

We’re only at day 123, and as Trump’s cruel and unusual punishment of 60% of the most vulnerable Americans escalates—so will fear, anger, and hopelessness. Historically, a society with nothing left to lose will engage in civil unrest.

Trump is stirring up the perfect formula to justify and fulfill his wet dream of a militarized nation; and the quicker the death of the American dream…the sooner his dream will manifest.

You’re right. I understand this very well. It feels very much like a “if this is what you want, I hope you get EXACTLY what you deserve.” I’m disappointed how little life means to them, and I wish that they experience the other side of that. Ten fold.

I think so, too. I believe they may not yet be certain they could get the army to full out demolish citizens. They may be waiting for enough excuse to claim they are defending Democracy. If they think they are losing too much ground, it wouldn’t be surprising if there were violence instigators planted in a group.

The 2025 project has pretty well outlined the plan so far. We should be able to think of strategic resistance moves that won’t get a lot of people killed.

People in the streets with out letup, boycotts, General Strikes and coordination of groups seem to have a better chance. Right now, the lower courts are mostly blocking enough to slow the takeover..The plan was to distract with chaos while destroying basic structure too quickly for resistance to form. I believe inserting violence would give them the power to stop any resistance cold.

I've been saying for months now that, while of course I don't condone violence or hurting anyone, THIS type of government is what J6 should have been about, not a pissy fit that someone (anyone) didn't win.

I think they may care, but Republicans are scared. Their lives and families are threatened. However, in life one has to make a decision to save humanity and do the right thing. This is the time for Republicans to stand up. If they don't they will soon become irrelevant.

Can you please elaborate more on how these cuts may affect people with disabilities, if you are able to get this information? Thank you so much for all you do!

Yes, who will these cuts impact most? And how? Medicare is something we pay for over our lifetime so how the hell can they cut funding? I hate this fucking country!

I'm so scared. I live month to month on SSDI, with my medical care paid for through Medicare and extra help through Medicaid. I rely on SNAP, and also, scariest of all, I get rental housing assistance and I want to know if that's affected (if SSDI is cut, it will affect my eligibility anyway). I worked for YEARS paying into SS, and I'm terrified that my 10 year old dog and I will be homeless soon.

I understand I am on SSI, I should be on SSDI. I got screwed in that area, tied me up in court for years & timed me out. I’ve been disabled for over a decade on SSI. My service dogs and I rely on Medicaid, snap & Section 8. I have a 17-year-old retired SD, a seven-year-old, working pup… I am chronically ill… I am so scared?! I am currently putting all of my resources into planting cannabis and vegetable gardens just to try to survive and ease the suffering… I am a agoraphobic, but I am trying to build Community because it’s going to be essential for our survival?!!

Shanonymous's avatar

I'm so sorry, I can relate. Agoraphobic here, too. Being homeless is unfathomable. Wishing these scary potential laws don't end up affecting people like us. It's scary enough that they're changing ADA guidelines to decide who is or isn't disabled.

We’re just gonna have a private dinner that we’re paying for at the White House for these people that have millions of dollars on his time?

If that’s the case, go have it at a hotel don’t have it at the White House. Why aren’t they screaming about having to pay for that?

Exactly. The WH is the People's House, always has been. He doesn't have off time, he's always on. He works for us, not himself. This private dinner, payed for with taxpayer dollars, is moronic at best. Where are these millions and millions of dollars going? Donald's pockets? This is what maga voted for? This is what they cheer for? They can't afford a 10th of that million dollars, yet this is okay? 🤦‍♀️

Try contacting your Democratic Senator to help you get the disability pushed through.

My friend was in that same position a few years ago. She was advised to contact her Senator, and he had the disability approved within a couple of weeks.
