Veteran services are suffering and I am not seeing or hearing enough about it. Many federal employees that are targeted/being let go are veterans. And our services are already subpar so to slash what we have is disgusting. Party of the military my fucking ass.
I’d love to see some more media coverage about what the illegal firings will do to our immediate and future safety. We are a fed family (for now, we’ve been told our cull is coming) and in the last 3 days we have lost so many people – which means we are losing a lot of critical food safety, crop/livestock safety and health research.
So much research meant to protect our important crops and food safety gone in an instant (with the tariff wars, etc, it will make it difficult to supplement these with other countries’ supplies).
I’m not sure we can get through to this cult as they must “touch the oven to see it’s hot themselves” but I think it’s important we highlight it for people who will get involved on pushing back.
I hope those that can will be protesting on Monday - action group leaders are using these protests to gauge when they can call for a truly massive protest for immediate change. And if you can’t attend, the 5 calls app and groups like MoveOn and Indivisible have weekly actions (and call scripts), online or in-person meetings.
Anything you can do is not too small. Please help.
I use the 5call app twice a day six days a week. They make it easy to call both the Washington and local offices of the congressmen. They also list the numbers for the attorney generals. I’m too old to march but I’ll continue to call. Don’t give up hope. That’s exactly what trump and musk want. Blessings and peace.

Our anxiety meds, ADHD meds, and depression meds are going to be taken away. Here’s how. Robert Kennedy wants us to go to wellness camps to be cured of it. These will be self sustaining (no clue how you will sustain your family during this time) and in the meantime your health insurance company will stop paying for these meds making it almost impossible for most of us to receive them.
There are herbal alternatives for anti-anxiety meds. We can all look into the herbal nervines; they can be effective. I have used them and I suggest them to my therapy clients. I'm a psychotherapist and l can tell you that anxiety and depression are on the RISE.

Tell that to my child who had a mental breakdown at the end of last year and who is still fighting suicidal ideation and needs to have meds adjusted. Tell that to my mom who has had severe BPD nearly her entire life and works with a professional to adjust her meds accordingly. Tell me that to my face. My anxiety is through the roof. My depression is worse. This isn’t going to be helped by putting us all in treatment camps, taking us off our meds and replacing them with herbs.
You may be a psychotherapist, but unless you’re a psychiatrist, you have no business making this recommendation.
