I had co-worker friends on those flights, 2 of them I had worked with many times. I still suffer from PTSD in certain situations. You honestly believe he cares if he is impeached for a record third time? He is the only president that has been impeached twice, so a third is no big deal. It just adds to his fame (or infamy).
But the other two times, he wasn't "convicted" in the impeachment. But assuming that the Senate does "convict" in a third impeachment, it would be very interesting to see what would happen -- would he actually leave? Would you have stand-off between the Secret Service people and whoever shows up to evict him? Would presumptive-President Vance then go and pardon him for all past sins? (this wouldn't restore DJT to presidency immediately, but does that set some stage for something down the road? (hmm, Vance could appoint Rump as his VP, could then resign (putting DJT back on the throne?) and then have DJT re-appoint Vance as VP??) All of this gets really murky with all the term rules, etc. -- but then when did this crowd ever seem concerned about following the rules/law?

Lena, thank you for explaining this to the people who have poor reading comprehension. I retired 8 years ago after 27 years with my airline. I had co-worker friends on those flights, 2 of them I had worked with many times. I still suffer from PTSD in certain situations. Forming DHS was not the answer to ensure our security so that sort of attack never happens again.
