Good morning everyone. The news has slowed down a bit finally. I am going to be on a long flight today, so I may not have all the updates right away, but as long as I have wifi, you will be getting updates from the sky (even if I have to record in the airplane bathroom).

With that, here’s the news:
Donald Trump is extremely frustrated this morning. Addressing Israel-Iran tensions, Trump said both nations have “been fighting so long... they don’t know what the fuck they’re doing.”
A whistle-blower complaint alleges that senior Justice Department official Emil Bove III suggested ignoring court orders to advance the Trump administration's deportation efforts.
The complaint, filed by former department lawyer Erez Reuveni, describes a March 14 meeting where Bove used explicit language, proposing the DOJ consider telling courts “fuck you” if judges tried to block planned deportations.
Bove insisted that deportation flights proceed regardless of potential legal obstacles; other officials present appeared shocked and uncomfortable.
Israel struck targets in central Tehran hours before a ceasefire, killing hundreds of Basij and Iranian security forces; Iran retaliated with missile attacks, killing four civilians in Be’er Sheva.
A ceasefire between Israel and Iran officially took effect at 07:00 but is described as "fragile" by EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, who urged renewed negotiations.
The Red Cross reported a fifth staff member killed in Gaza since the Israel-Hamas war began.
Trump stated he does not seek “regime change” in Iran, warning it would lead to chaos.
President Trump said China can now buy oil from Iran, despite U.S. sanctions under both his and Biden’s administrations that sought to block such purchases.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte urged greater military investment, warning it’s "unthinkable" that Russia, with a much smaller economy, could outproduce NATO in arms, as Russia rearms with support from China, Iran, and North Korea.
Rutte emphasized: "We must spend more to prevent war... We must win this new war of production."
A U.S. Marine veteran spoke of feeling “betrayed” after ICE agents arrested his undocumented father, who has no criminal record, at his landscaping job in California.
ICE raids across Los Angeles have caused widespread fear, with immigrants avoiding schools, work, and even medical clinics; no-show rates at community health centers have jumped from under 10% to over 30%.
Health care providers warn that patients are risking serious health crises by avoiding care due to fear of ICE raids; some are skipping food or medication out of fear of leaving their homes.
The Trump administration is quietly rehiring federal employees and recalling some from leave after initial layoffs and retirements aimed at shrinking the government created critical service gaps.
Experts warn the rapid rehirings signal a dangerous loss of expertise across agencies, with some firings reversed by courts and others reinstated under pressure from lawmakers, industries, and service groups.
Republican Sen. Bill Cassidy criticized RFK Jr.’s appointments to a federal vaccine advisory committee and called for delaying its next meeting until more qualified experts are added.
Media Matters sued the FTC, alleging it was targeted for investigation in retaliation for reporting on extremist content on X, claiming White House appointees acted on behalf of Elon Musk, who previously held a prominent role in the Trump administration.
See you this evening.
