I Was Just Featured in Rolling Stone

968

There are days in this work that feel ordinary — another video, another post, another late night chasing a story. And then there are days like today. Days that make you pause, take a breath, and say: wow.

Rolling Stone just published a feature documenting my story and my work — and I am deeply honored (Click here to read the full article). This article walks through my background, how I got here, and why I believe so strongly in what I do. To be recognized in a publication like Rolling Stone is surreal. It’s one of those pinch-me moments I never imagined when I first started making videos in my bedroom.

I want to take a minute to say thank you. None of this would be possible without all of you — your support, your engagement, your trust. We are building something different here. We’re redefining how news can be delivered, how civics can be taught, and how information can reach people where they are. And we’re doing it together. Please consider subscribing to my Substack to continue supporting this work:

Here are a few highlights from the piece that mean a lot to me:

“Parnas, 26, boasts 3.9 million TikTok followers and another 2 million across his other platforms. Though the left has long been calling for its own Joe Rogan as a way to connect with younger voters, he’s become a sort of 20-something Walter Cronkite — a trustworthy presence delivering the facts with the urgency needed in a nonstop news cycle.”

That comparison alone leaves me speechless. The trust you all place in me to deliver facts — quickly, clearly, and responsibly — is something I take incredibly seriously.

“Indeed, media literacy is part of the point of his TikToks. ‘That’s why I got interested in politics in the first place,’ he says. ‘What I’m doing is a way to teach folks civics without putting it in the classroom, because it’s on their phone.’”

This is truly at the heart of my mission. I started this because I believe everyone deserves access to clear, accurate information — not behind a paywall, not buried in jargon — but right where they already are.

“He possesses an almost monomaniacal commitment to delivering breaking news...There he is recording in a car heading to a wedding… in his bed wearing a Snuggie and under-eye patches… in an airplane bathroom talking about Newark Airport.”

Okay, I laughed reading this part because — yeah, that’s accurate. The news doesn’t stop just because life is happening. And sometimes that means filming a story wherever I am, Snuggie and all.

“Until recently, calling him a journalist might have been a stretch, but in recent months, he’s gone from aggregating the news to advancing the biggest stories of the day… interviewing politicians… More and more people get their news and information from social media and content creators,” Schiff tells Rolling Stone. “We can’t expect our message to be heard if we don’t reach out where people are listening.”

This evolution is something I’m really proud of. What started as sharing headlines has grown into real conversations with leaders shaping our future — conversations that you all are part of by watching, sharing, and engaging.

Today is a milestone, but it’s just one step in what I hope will be a long journey of building a new kind of media — one rooted in accessibility, transparency, and trust.

Thank you for being part of this.

We are redefining media. One post at a time.
