Many of these people in California are in the 9th circuit jurisdiction, so if they are out into detention, it should really be where they are living/picked up, so that the right judge hears the case. I live in San Antonio Texas. Restaurants are closed. Kids aren’t going to school. It’s so sad. So many people are selling their homes and going into hiding. I’m horrified for them. They’re not sending them back to Mexico they’re keeping them here for slave labor.

It's been about locking these guys up within the 5th circuit so a conservative judge can order the official order and they can convene with separating families and sending people wherever they see fit. Look up what happened during WW2. That was originally supposed to be a deportation mission too, but many countries wouldn't let Hitler deport the Jews, so they stuck them in working camps. The intention wasn't to kill them at first, but when the camps got too crowded, the mass killings started. We are well down the same path with these migrants.
