Smdh They are turning to many cartwheels they can't even keep up with their own bullshit. Also, I'm waiting for someone to call treason on these clowns.

Allyssa's avatar

It was the morning humor I needed 🤣

Stephen's avatar

That joke made me laugh, thank you Aaron

Gabrielle Holland's avatar

Oooo Aaron has sass and I’m TOTALLY here for it 😂

Interesting how the narrative changes over and over again when Trump and Musk are called out, now he is not a member of DOGE but correct me if I’m wrong was he not assigned to lead that department? The delusional behaviors of this administration is beyond comprehension

Jack Powers's avatar

Exactly! So if he’s not leading it then who is? Big Balls and his squad of finance bros? I can’t 🤦🏻‍♂️.

Valen's avatar

They aren't finance bros (that would be logical); they are computer hackers.

P. D. How's avatar

Computer hackers who cannot program (code) correctly. Hackers don't know Cobalt system so their programming (coding) is incorrect. Society Security is 90 years old. Not 150.

My thought is that they’re changing the narrative because Musk was brought on as a ‘Special Government Employee’ which means he can only serve something like 180 days within a 365 day period, so he’d be gone in May. So if they’re now trying to change that, by declaring he’s something else, he can stay on longer, like indefinitely. That’s my theory. Here’s a link to an NPR story about SGEs: https://www.npr.org/2025/02/13/nx-s1-5293124/special-government-employee-trump-musk-doge

P. D. How's avatar

Yes hew was assigned. It was his organization. Whatever Musk does, Trump supported it.

P. D. How's avatar

Exactly. It's why Musk thought he was president and little Musk spilled the beans.

Teresa P's avatar

So he’s hacking and mining all our personal data for his own benefit then? And those he’s fired aren’t really fired. And the departments he shut down aren’t really shut down. As an advisor, he has no authority to do these acts and should be held accountable for personally downloading all data. Wow the biggest scam job in history!

solveig Andresen's avatar

Peace talk without Ukraine is not Peace talk 🙄

Ashley Conner's avatar

He was introduced as the head of DOGE. That simply will not stand 🤦🏻‍♀️😆

Laura Young's avatar

Who the heck are we in the US to demand a new election in Ukraine? Is it so Musk can install another Trump?

SMstack's avatar

I’d love to have a new election in the US. This is freaking nuts

Lilia Hackert's avatar

Does Ukraine want to demand a new election in the US?

Jessica Greenlee's avatar

Can one of the conditions be new elections in the US instead? Asking on behalf of democracy ….

OldBlackDude's avatar

If musk is not in charge of DOGE then who is? And how does he have any authority to do anything if he’s just an advisor?

Channing Davis's avatar

The gaslighting about Musk position is crazy!!!!

Alice K.'s avatar

Surely, Chutkin won’t fall for it. Right?

Anne henderson's avatar

We must retaliate by not supporting big box stores. Shop at local farmers markets. Buy local.

Alisa Berry's avatar

But check to see if they support MAGA.

Warrior4Justice's avatar

Build community gardens! That could sustain food production and neighborhood connection we need so badly now.

Valen's avatar

That's not really sustainable for many.

Erica's avatar

Thank you Aaron! These morning run downs have started becoming part of my daily routine.

Jen Bothered's avatar

Mine too same with the evening

Blue4Ever's avatar

This is gaslighting at the highest level.

Alice K.'s avatar

Highest dose, maybe; lowest level in terms of believability and intelligence.

AJ's avatar

Genuine question (my brain is fried) why are these people resigning instead of staying firm in their decisions to not conform to the demands of Musk?

Janet Forster's avatar

Same question here. Are they resigning? And isn’t that what the end game is for this administration? Make them fire you, for following the regulations, the laws! Then sue them for illegally firing you.

Valen's avatar

I think it is because they are loyal civil servants who work under an oath of ethics that is unrecognizable or rejected these days. It's a moral compass thing i think.

Randi's avatar

So when someone refuses to give out sensitive information that musk has no business needing to know, they “resign”. Why are they all folding to an immigrant? You right, HE DOESNT EVEN GO HERE

Jess Robinson's avatar

I'm super interested in how everything pans out with Eric Adams. I'd love to see Hochul fire him, it sounds like it needs to happen. That situation is way sketchy

Valen's avatar

But he's doing such a good job! 🙄

Jess Robinson's avatar

He's just so wildly corrupt, I'm fascinated by this whole thing. This is the reason why the governor has this power! If not for this, then for what?

saimurae's avatar

I don't like this random organization having access to my data. I want to opt out of whatever this is.
