My thought is that they’re changing the narrative because Musk was brought on as a ‘Special Government Employee’ which means he can only serve something like 180 days within a 365 day period, so he’d be gone in May. So if they’re now trying to change that, by declaring he’s something else, he can stay on longer, like indefinitely. That’s my theory.
