I want to mention that Presidenta Claudia Scheinbaum Prado has made large preparations to embrace deported Mexican citizens so that they do not suffer a cruel integration. She plans to deport US citizens living in Mexico to make room for her citizens to come home. She said not a single US citizen will step off a plane into her country while Trump's decrees are being followed. Mexico is not here for games.
I love her and I respect her decision. Unfortunately Mexico was one of the countries I was considering. Unfortunately his malfeasance is going to make it bad for all of us. And many may not be able to escape.
The US had no border control until the 1920s. So on paper, my family became citizens after 1920. But we've been in Texas before it became part of the US. No one in this country has a different story than mine. All "white" people were undocumented European-Americans until 1920. When they say, "we came here legally", the fuck you did. We are Native Americans of North America. Colonizers are not legal. Now Immigrants of Europe are victimizing Native American communities that were never given sovereignty. Let's shine a light on the whole story, not just the one we were taught.

I am a 65 yr old with grandparents who left the Holocaust. Came here with no English. My Uncles and father who had to go back as US Military and fight during WW2. My older brothers fought in Vietnam. Yet, we are suppose to accept what is happening now? I don't think so. Stay strong.

My daughter landed in Los Angeles from Denmark (where she works now, we are Canadian), all of her Danish colleagues were harassed by Customs. 6 of them came for a conference.
Thank you. She was ok with Nexus and Canadian passport but all her colleagues, all with passports from Denmark, harassed! For over 45 min. This is going in a very wrong way.
