Too many corporations and individuals in this country are playing it safe by saying nothing. That is unacceptable. Thanks, Aaron, for reaffirming your commitment to the fight!.

I wrote an email to Shari Redstone: you are complicit in 10 million Americans losing healthcare. You are complicit in hundreds of thousands of children dying due to closure of USAID. You are complicit in millions of people going hungry due to SNAP cuts. You have enabled an authoritative, greedy, dishonest, immoral pedophile to destroy our democracy.

I don't imagine she will read or even see that email. And if she did, her only thought would be "screw you and the horse you rode in on." She already showed what matters to her. And what does not.

I wrote it knowing she would not even see it; but we all could just keep doing nothing for fear we won’t be seen. Doing nothing is not an option.

I agree that doing nothing is not an option, but when an option is that your action has been disregarded, then try another tack.

When I was young I wrote a heart felt letter to the President regarding gun control after JFK's assassination and got back a form letter. That was the end of my political innocence and naivete.

Phone calls are somewhat better....staff can sometimes be receptive to at least listening politely, leaving one with the hope that they're taking notes or at least tallying the responses to issues and forwarding the data to their boss.

I think sharing of Shari.redstone@wsj.com was a smart move - Aaron's groundswell of advocates is growing and voices are sounding out louder in unity and will be difficult to ignore or try to drown out.

She is a vile greedy subhuman. I cannot even fathom acquiescing to add to my multi-millions at the expense of so many that have so little. Paying a multi-million dollar bribe to make a weak, petulant thin-skinned dictator that destroyed a once highly respected news and entertainment organization—as a 59 year old, it makes me sad that 60 minutes, a staple of my entire life, is essentially gone. I am so upset at this point this probably did not even make sense.

We WILL prevail because we, the people, believe in democracy, rule of law, truth and freedom, just like you do, Aaron. Together, we are bigger, stronger and more powerful than those who continue to enable the destruction of America. Americans have faced corruption, cruelty and immorality in the past, and we've come out of the fray wiser and more determined to keep our country the Land of the Free. We are in this fight together! Thank you for your dedication, honesty and encouragement, Aaron. Hope you feel better!

Thank you, Aaron. Every night when I lay my head on the pillow, it’s hard to believe where we are right now. I feel alone. I feel defeated. It’s like no matter what I say or do, things just keep getting worse. As an immigrant in America, as a gay man, as a brown person your voice matters. And I deeply appreciate you using it to speak up for all of us.

You are not alone. Regardless of your status as an immigrant, you are an American too. Most people in this country don't want to see our fellow Americans brutally abducted and put in concentration camps. It is devastating. This is not MY America. I have to believe that the tide will turn and this evil regime will be shut down.

We're on it!

We the People know what a moral movement moment this is

We're showing up, speaking up, standing up for democracy

Think how many we are now - ordinary people coming back with their friends - turning a protest into a project

This will not die on our watch

Know this: All is impermanent. The tide will turn. When you come to the end of your rope tie a knot and hold on. Find good company in animal companions, in faith, family and friends. Give yourself the benefit of the doubt.

Take a well-deserved break and a lesson from nature: When the leader of a V-formation of birds gets tired it drops back and another bird takes its turn in the lead. Be willing to drop back and let others support you until you are ready to soar again.

A weekly reminder is good. Staying plugged in is hard, but if we unplug, we get comfortable and ignorant. Then we become one of those people that is clueless to Anything going on.

Pattern recognition is a double edged sword. I am less surprised that something happened, and just surprised when it finally does happen. There is another side to this. And we will get there. Take care of yourself when you need to. We can take shifts. But we all need to meet back up and not forget. Not put on blinders. Stay knowing.

Happy Friday everyone.

Another thing we’ll remember about these chaotic days is a young journalist who was astonishingly dedicated to providing his followers with the latest news regardless of how taxing those efforts were on himself. He was thorough, thoughtful, articulate, accurate and of course charming. We worried about his health and his addiction to sour candy. Yes, candy 🤣. We so respected, applauded and appreciated him knowing he, Aaron Parnas, was one of the truest examples of bravery in a world that was spinning out of control. Fortunately, he will go on being a hero to so many of us. Thank you, Aaron!

Then I would like to make a request, if I may… Please, when referencing the Epstein victims, though not all were under age, will you please give them the respect of calling them children, and not just young women? Say the “young women and children”… so people don’t get numb to the fact that there were absolutely children in the Epstein S-ring. Thank you for all you do.
