Excellent information. Glad to meet the common sense and well informed (former) head of the CFPB -- wish we had MORE heads of agencies like this rather than the completely partisan, punishing and gleefully destructive heads that have been put in place to gut their agencies.
Great interview Aaron. The company I worked for was a great contributor to the 2008 crisis and hence the creation of needed Policing by the CFPB. I have defended companies during CFPB audits and have great respect for what CFPB stands for.
this was by far the best agency. I had friends who had junk debt collectors try to fuck with them and CFPB was the only one to help them get them off their asses for debt that wasn't even theirs!
