I layed in the snow today making a snow angel with my daughter and paused for a moment to just breathe. Being outside and taking in fresh air and looking at the blue sky was honestly so healing. Get out in nature tomorrow and just breathe ♥️♥️♥️
You're not alone. Things are really scary and life in general is really hard. Take a step back and do some things that are good for you. Drink a glass of water, eat some peanut butter crackers (if you can), do some breathing exercises, sit in the sun for a few minutes. You are amazing and so capable, we'll get through this together. Let's take it one day at a time.
I already had anxiety and therapy.. and I would tell you that my therapist told me their office has had multiple inquiries specifically seeking help with the political situation. Call around and look online for someone you might feel comfortable with. It makes a difference. Be brave and hang in there. ❤️

I looked at myself in the mirror this morning. I realized that I look physically ill. I look like the life has been sucked out of me. My eyes are red and look soulless. I found a selfie I took, to send my husband, in a rest area the week before Christmas while my girls and I were driving to Chicago. I’m 47 years old, so I’m no spring chicken but I was happy and you can see the difference. I have anxiety meds that are 4 years old that i have not needed. I am thinking about taking one. Not sure how effective they are at this point but maybe just the idea of one will help. I’m in a state where everyone is red. You don’t talk about being blue here. My husband hates Trump but he’s tired of hearing me stress and panic. He tries to be patient but he just can’t handle it. He can’t think about what could happen, he has to think about it, when it happens. I’m a planner and a panicker. I don’t know how to escape this mental hell. I thought overeating was the trick. That only made the roof of my mouth hurt, so gave that up. Now I’m too obsessed and also losing weight. When will it end?
