I suspect if they privatize TSA they can “disappear “ or kidnap people in airports nationwide with no repercussions. Just as they are taking away international students and people with green cards who are legally protected and allowed to be here. The “private “ company will no doubt be complicit and compliant with the federal administrations goals. This regime wants the power to dictate, police, and enforce their own rules whenever and wherever they see fit.
Yes 👍 many millions of Americans and millions of people in other countries worldwide are exhausted…the chronic stress, the the lack of predictability, the erratic nature of the way this administration operates creates fear, fury and overload. The four signs of a traumatized citizenry is similar to the nervous system of a single human being:
FIGHT
FLIGHT
FREEZE
FAWN
Some of us are trying to push back and stand against this tyrannical regime. Others are trying to figure where to flee to outside the US. Many of us are in a state of numb exhaustion. Those that fawn seem to be mostly other politicians who are walking a razor’s edge between what the constituents who elected them want, and what this administration is telling them to do/say/promote. Political people pleasers trying to keep their elected office and not anger the public or the President.
The best revenge is to have a good day. Seriously. See the beauty of nature, listen to birds chirping, enjoy a sunset. If their goal is fear and anxiety, a calm peaceful walk in nature is an act of rebellion and resistance. Self care is so important during such uncertain times.

Privatize everything! That is the republican answer to everything. Can you imagine what it would be like at the airport if TSA were privatized? Of course, look at the Senator who put forth this bill - Tommy Tuberville, the absolute worse senator in Congress. DEMOCRATIC SENATORS, PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY LEGISLATIVE ACTIONS PUT FORTH BY THE REPUBLICANS.
It wouldn't surprise me if they do want another 9/11 situation. It created a lot of fear, and people who are scared are easy to manipulate with false promises. If they can pin the incident on specific ethnic groups, that helps the administration spill hate and smooths the path to mass deportations.
Although I don’t support the privatization of every last thing (including TSA, USPS, and more), TSA is very hit and miss with their screenings. I was traveling with something totally innocuous, but that I knew would look suspicious. I was only stopped and screened on one of my two flights for this item.
While I totally agree the current system needs work, unfortunately I can’t imagine a private airport security situation created by this current ”administration” would be an upgrade

I’m glad for this but isn’t illegal to use signal type apps for any official business? That’s what fed phones are for. So that there is a record of their actions and communications as well as being more secure.
