I would agree if klarna was a credit based system but it's not. If you don't have the due today amount then you can't use it. They don't finance you, and they've definitely saved my ass in a pinch

I’ve never used it, but my understanding is Klarna is an option to “buy” now but not have to pay right away, then you’ll be able to pay in periodic installments/payments. It’s interest free for a certain amount of time and then there’s interest accrual or late fees, either way.. it’s like a tiny loan or a credit card I guess.
Adding onto what Kristen said, it's essentially a pay in 4 program. So you buy now and pay the forst payment then there are 3 more payments every 2 weeks
States, via school districts, already hire and fire employees, and create their own curriculum aligned with state mandates. The things that the U.S. will lose is the ability to curb civil rights, lose funds for special education, and funding for higher ed. Things we have worked hard to gain as a country so we have more capable citizens to contribute to society.

That’s the only Constitutional way to handle it. There is no provision for a Federal education department. It is the proper responsibility of parents, local and state government. We have had the Dept. of Education for less than fifty years and it has been an unqualified failure by any metric you would use. Leave that money in the states and raise teacher wages.
There is an almost perfect correlation with the establishment of the dept. of education in 1978 and the decline of student performance. Many feel elimination of the Dept. of Education will improve education in the US. Its elimination will have no adverse impact. Some of us still remember the quality of education prior to 1978. Carter established the Dept. of Education mainly as a sop to the unions. It was never about improving student performance. Since 1978 teacher unions have amassed gigantic power but student performance has declined.
I remember. Special needs students didn't have an IEP back then. They were taught nothing much of anything, especially nothing that was Individualized for them. They do now. In red states, will they still? Especially poor red county's? My BIL was a quadriplegic with CP, in a wheelchair. The schools weren't equipped for anyone in a wheelchair. Much less anyone with CP. So he stayed home. No, he wasn't homeschooled. He would have started kindergarten in '63. He just sat at home. He would have graduated in '76, with his twin. Schools are mandated to be wheelchair accessible. This will be lost, again, in red states. Accessibility to anywhere built new will be lost. trump would rather the disabled all die, like his nephew. trump can kiss my lily white ass, too. My daughter also has CP, had an IEP all through school, graduating in '01.
Still waiting to wake up from this nightmare! What is meant by return education to the states? As a country, you would think that the federal government would want to expand education here in America since we are so far behind other countries in certain subjects. Nowhere does this make America great again nor does it keep us competitive with other countries. Keeping America dumb only serves those with the money to send their children to private schools. I’ve yet to understand the Heritage Foundations vision for the future of America. From my understanding the states/towns pay the bulk of the public school costs. But the things the feds do is support special education programs, We submit applications for grants, like during Covid a lot of tech was needed to teach online. Perhaps money for a special program for a specific community. But they also were the ones who gave out scholarships and student loans. So who knows WHAT will happen with that!😡🤬
Yes, schools receive federal funding for special education through IDEA. I have an autistic son who just started preschool in January and I've already reached out to our school district to find out exactly how much they rely on federal funding for their SPED programs and if my child is at risk of losing out on FAPE

The money some of these towns get for vouchers, so the parents can send their child to private schools, is government funded. I'm in NW IL, hour and 10 minutes from IA, so we get IA news. Last 4 yrs their governor wouldn't take a dime from the government. Suddenly all she's wanting is government money.
