  • President Donald J. Trump announced that U.S. Air Force strikes were carried out against the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan Nuclear Facilities in Iran.

  • Trump said that the Iranian nuclear sites have been “completely and totally” obliterated saying that he wants peace in Iran, and if Iran strikes back, he will target many more sites with precision and speed.

  • Heavy GPS jamming and disruptions are being reported throughout Iran and parts of the Middle East, likely related to the U.S. strikes and preparations for possible Iranian responses.

  • U.S. officials confirmed to Reuters that B-2A “Spirit” Long-Range Stealth Bombers participated in the strikes.

  • Three senior Iranian officials told The New York Times that Fordow and Natanz were bombed around 2:30 a.m. local time in Iran.

  • The United States has entered Israel’s war against Iran, according to The New York Times.

  • Iranian state-run media reported that the Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan Nuclear Facilities had been evacuated before the strikes.

  • President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu spoke earlier prior to the strikes.

  • According to sources who spoke with CNN, Trump hopes the strikes will pressure Tehran back into negotiations and currently does not plan further U.S. military actions.

  • But, Donald Trump did say that if Iran strikes back, then America will target Iran once again.

  • The Washington Post reported that Iraqi security forces deployed outside the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad around 3 a.m. local time.

  • An official from Iraq’s Counter Terrorism Service confirmed the deployments, citing concerns over potential attacks by Iranian-backed militias.

  • A U.S. official told The New York Times that multiple GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (“Bunker Buster”) bombs were used against the Fordow facility, located up to 90 meters underground, with initial assessments indicating it was "taken off the table."

  • Fox News reported that BGM-109 Tomahawk Land-Attack Cruise Missiles were launched from U.S. Navy submarines against the Isfahan and Natanz Nuclear Facilities.

  • Top Democrats on intelligence committees were not briefed on the strikes, while Republicans were, according to CNN.

  • Nationwide gatherings are now prohibited in Israel.

  • Security has increased around the U.S. embassy in Baghdad.

  • Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez called for President Trump to be impeached.

  • Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization says it will not halt its nuclear program following the U.S. attack, calling the strikes a “blatant violation of international law.”

  • Iranian state television declared that “every American citizen or military personnel in the region is now a target.”

  • Iranian state television also issued a statement directed at Trump: “you started it and we will end it.”

  • House Speaker Mike Johnson and House Majority Whip Tom Emmer released statements praising President Trump’s strike on Iran.
