It’s all about the methods - where did they survey (cities, southern states, etc), how did they survey (via landlines, email, etc), were there incentives for completing the survey? You have to think about the demographics of the people who responded and determine if that sample is truly representative of the whole country? We also have no idea what the sample size is, how the question(s) were phrased.
