Donald Trump is a felon who has disqualified himself by betraying his oath of office. This should be enforced by the people even if it means open rebellion. It is our duty to our children and the generations not yet born who will not know freedom if we don’t act. We all have a sacred responsibility to make this world a better, kinder, fairer world.

It seems civil war is inevitable. I do agree with you. I am sad it has come to this.

There is no ruling class. We are governed by consent and have the right to remove that consent should those entrusted with governing fail to act in a manner consistent with the freedoms that are the rights of all humanity. We are not the owners of this world we are simply temporary custodians. As such we have an obligation to future generations to demand those rights. It is as simple as that.

Sad but True…America is at a cross roads. In the twilight of my life, at 82…soon to be 83 I never felt so helpless and hopeless. To think it could come to mounting the barricades…I don’t know!

I just need people to understand that in Maine, an individual may not serve more than two consecutive four-year terms as governor. So like, it’s correct that Janet Mills won’t be reelected to this position the next time… But because it’s the law, not because it’s what the 🍊 guy said.

Do you think that Trump wants the USPS so that he has (illegal) control over mail-in-ballots?

They know they will become unpopular, and I think they are going to compromise voting to their favor every way they can. With so much coming at us...I hope this is not lost.

I usually mail my ballot in. "If" we have another election, I am going to offer free rides to the polls in my community.

I live in Washington state where it is 100% mail in ballot...and never any problems with it. But if I lived in a place where you go to the polls I would do just what you are.

People who rely on Social Security should take Trump to court because (1) they paid into the system for decades to receive that support money, though he and GOP are trying to take that away; (2) DOGE has violated their---and everyone's---right to privacy by infiltrating government computers containing private information, including social security numbers, addresses, and other identifying data. Who authorized unqualified, unvetted, unsupervised hackers to break into government offices, knowing nothing about what they're doing, but with the mandate to potentially steal and misuse private data?

I suspect there's no action being taken because those people who rely on social security are too afraid to challenge the president and his Gestapo regime.

Expand full comment
Abbie's avatar

Those who rely on social security can't afford to challenge the president and his gestapo regime. Too many aren't aware of their options or feel too beat down by the system to feel like they have a chance. It's sad.
