I didn’t watch because I didn’t want to watch him lie over and over again. So clearly, those people that watched were mostly his supporters anyway

I believe in the CBS polling it was 51% republicans, 27% independents, 20% democrats, which would explain the low disapproval rating (and I agree with your statement)

Another reason to support independent media. We are not going to get unbiased reporting from CBS News

CBS polling has been really sketchy lately and I saw their post about it and they’re officially off my “maybe I can trust them” list. They definitely didn’t provide appropriate context.

Yes, that’s what I read too. So basically they’re reporting that most republicans approved of trump’s drivel, but they’re not reporting that the rest of the country either disapproved or stayed away in droves.

I unfortunately watched but didn't see a poll to express my discontent. I didn't watch it on the website, so that's probably my fault.

This might sound cliche, however, make sure you take time to practice self love. I am doing yoga that focuses on body base intervention.

I am a yogi and I meditate almost every day! I’m also an empath which is causing my mental anguish in this moment. The collective energy of the country is overwhelmingly angry and I feeeeeeel it.

Thank you! 💝

I'm an empath as well and it's extremely difficult, particularly in times like where Zelenskyy was treated so horrifically. Sending you love.

So I am reattaching my head to my body .... aka live in my head and my body at the same time.. even if it is just for 5 minutes a day. I just did it and it was wonderful! Message me if you want to move/shake with me weekdays 5PM EST for 5 minutes... oh I want to dance with somebody =;)

I'm an empath too! And have been desperately trying to quiet the "noise" of the pain and suffering coming down due to his cruelty....but in ways that are not good for me. :( Today I am back to meditation daily...I know that helps a lot. After that shit show last night, my entire being is hurting.

We have been traumatized as a collective. There's no reason to expose yourself to something that will hurt or upset you when you can get the bullet points from a legitimate source the next day. I try to avoid hearing or seeing him as much as possible. As a fellow empath, I understand. The world feels so heavy and it feels like it gets heavier every day. Don't forget to take care of yourself, lean on your community, and try to find joy in the small things. Evil never wins in the end. Hang in there, friend.

I understand completely. I have been depressed since the election. I just could not get it under control, even though I have been seeing a therapist.

On Monday, my doctor started me on antidepressants. I fought going on them, but I am really struggling to stay afloat. I felt I needed to at least give the antidepressants a try.

Take care of yourself…

Republicans love to support lies. I watched that entire dreadful so called speech and he lied, mislead and bullied. He made a mockery of those families and individuals who experienced loss. They stood up 30+ times in support of his lies which is why their constituents are angry.
