So what are you going to do about anything but talk talk talk to take debate debate. You keep saying the mainstream media doesn't do anything about anything everybody here you are doing the same thing analyzing over and over and over and over again. Where we're going to go no one knows. I don't have any good ideas for you but I know one thing. The Democratic party is finished benito. I'm assumed to you and be a part of it right now. I'm certainly not a republican thank God but this party is weak as f*** and you people make it weaker by just talking about it and dribbling about it and crying about it and debating about it and analyzing about and screwing about and say we have to talk to the people about it. But the people already know about it and we can't do anything so if you can't do anything and we can't do anything. I guess there's nothing but talk about it. Until one day when we don't have a country left because you've talked too much.

Would be interested to hear your thoughts on what we should be doing...really rather not see us start to attack and blame one another as you are doing here! How about in solidarity and kindness please...

Having immunity from prosecution does not make something he does legal. so, It does not mean the actions themselves itself is unlawful. Trump is a felon and a rapist. Also, his actions are illegal.

The Vice President is incorrect in his statement of the law. A judge can pass judgment on a general’s conduct on the battlefield—not by micromanaging real-time decisions, but by determining whether their actions complied with legal obligations.

We have international treaties like the Geneva Conventions, rules of engagement, operational orders, and the Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), all of which govern how military leaders operate. A general can be court-martialed, relieved of command, or even criminally charged if they violate these laws. Military judges and tribunals review battlefield actions, including whether a general correctly followed rules of engagement, adhered to treaty obligations, or exercised command responsibility over subordinates who committed war crimes.

While the Feres Doctrine and sovereign immunity shield military officers from being sued in civilian courts for battlefield decisions, that does not mean they are beyond judicial review. Military courts are subject to appellate review, and the Judiciary can examine their rulings. So, while courts don’t issue battlefield orders, they have a role in reviewing and enforcing the law regarding a general’s conduct in war. The Vice President's statement of the law is inaccurate and insincere in its fundamental premise.

Similarly, the Vice President's statement regarding the judiciary's role in reviewing prosecutorial misconduct is also incorrect. While prosecutorial discretion is broad, it is not absolute, and courts can intervene if the Attorney General exercises that discretion in a way that violates constitutional or legal protections.

A judge can review and even discipline the AG if the prosecution is biased in ways prohibited by law, such as selective prosecution (violating equal protection), retaliatory prosecution (punishing someone for exercising constitutional rights), or withholding exculpatory evidence (Brady violations). Courts have repeatedly ruled that prosecutorial power cannot be used for discriminatory, vindictive, or unethical purposes.

Judges can sanction, hold in contempt, or even dismiss cases where the AG’s actions violate legal or constitutional standards. While courts cannot override general prosecutorial priorities, they can and do hold prosecutors accountable when they cross legal lines.

The Vice President's statements are just bald-faced lies that only pass muster to those without understanding the law or our governmental structure.
