Thank you to everyone who has become a paid subscriber or sent a Venmo (Aaron-parnas) for one time support. You have allowed me to do this full time and start building out a team. News will always be free but know that I’m so grateful for all of you!

I am working on getting a paid subscription, but at my age and low income, I am just squeaking by. I will find a way to do it! I can't express how grateful I am. I know that what you do is risky. What you and the other journalists on Substack are doing, as well as Meidas providing us with honest journalism, is a blessing in these unusual times. Thanks for providing us with the truth. May the heavens bless you and your family.

I am a 72 year old Canadian whose grandparents and parents suffered from both World Wars ( you got that eh? WORLD WARS) who has lost 5K this week due to the Hitler Wannabe and I am very appreciative of you keeping this new generation in the know. You do not want a world under a leaders who will use the power of their law to determine what you are allowed to say what you believe.

I am retired and depend on social security. So I hear what you are saying. I give monthly. I think I give a little over $6 monthly. I hope this helps. Yes, in this moment in time, independent news is so important.

I think it’s around 6.50 a month, but it’s less if you pay once a year. If you hit subscribe, it gives you options of payment. If you can’t afford any of them, then you can go back & stay for free. I do the monthly as it’s easier on a fixed income.

Sal knows. I respect Sal not just for his service to our country, but his only thoughts are to unite us and stop this madness before we are attacked from within, orchestrated by Trump. Trump is using our law enforcement as crowd control, putting their lives in danger. If the police refuse they will be unemployed. Sal is a good man.

Well, we have attacked the Houthis before. They attack ships that go by there. They are an Iranian backed terrorist group that Iran has been supplying with weapons. Saudi Arabia has been bombing them for years. But I think Trump is doing it more to protect Israel than anything else. We’ve had special ops there for years so I’m not concerned with that.

Thank god these judges are doing what they need to be doing (most of them) bc they are literally the only thing between Trump and complete destruction of our country. (God I wish that was an exaggeration.) What he’s doing is terrifying.

Are you sure Trump and Musk will follow the legal order opposing their corruption?

They had better! What makes me so angry is that this insane President (yes I meant that literally, because he is insane, just like Hitler)is he is turning our country inside out & upside down with all of his illegal executive orders. This will probably go to the Supreme Court, and those right-wingers in the SC better do something to stop Trump in his tracks. It is because of them that Trump thinks he can do whatever the hell he wants. They had better stop him!

In literally sitting here crying with everything going on. Seeing this that a judge blocked so quickly brings littler, but at least some hope. Reading the article about ICE and wartime authority made me break in tears. I thought our civil war would be two generations away but it’s literally going to happen before my eyes. This is not America our founding fathers fought for

Same with some on my relatives. My Papa lied about his age to fight in WWII. He just past last year. So glad he isn’t around to see this. It would crush him

And many died to protect our country for many years now. I’ll be damned if this Monster “Mock” President is going to take our Democracy & Freedoms from us! This is a total Sh*t Show! We need to get Trump/Musk & Vance out of office ASAP!

I give myself permission to cry and laugh. Sometimes I laugh-cry. I hysterically laugh at the absurdity and then cry at the reality. But, they are weak and we are strong.

I feel like the next move by the administration will be a watershed moment - will Trump and his cronies defy the court? Will they seek to impeach this brave judge? Will those planes be turned around? We are on the precipice - will we descend into the eternal darkness of fascism - or will democracy hold. I’ve never been more terrified.

Take a breath. Think of the various hells that our forebears have shouldered their way through such that you are here and have a good heart and a reasonable life. Don’t be terrified—be determined. Be angry and turn that anger to whatever small action you can do to stand up for what is right and good.

How did the judge get the order conveyed to the plane? I can imagine the pilot of one of these planes getting a radio message to turn the plane around and wondering if that supersedes the order of the president- the word weird is overused for the times we are in.
