If the SAVE act and the drastic cuts to the social safety net bills pass, the damage will be done. It's one thing if people did indeed vote him in. But Congress has allowed him to run around with a flame thrower, and whether by death or being completely disenfranchised, he will have no base left.

I live in a small rural area and the amount of people applauding his actions and criticizing the "woke liberal sheep" for speaking out against Trump's actions is appalling. A relative told me that this is Biden's fault....because that makes sense. They won't care until his actions tear their world apart.

I think as many businesses as possible should be encouraged to itemize out like product actual cost, then a line for Trump tariff, or MAGA tariff, but showing exactly how much extra you pay, BECAUSE OF DONALD. Do they then add the regular sales tax on the tariff increased price?? I assume so since the importer pays the tariff on delivery, then passes on the increase. In OK our sales tax is like 10%. So we will probably pay sales tax on the increase then. So, another 10% of the 10%, or an additional 1%. It WILL add up.
As 70-something seniors, I can tell you that my wife and I have stopped spending on anything but essentials. We are now left guessing from month-to-month whether or not our Social Security checks will be deposited on time, or at all. Even though we have other income to “survive,” using SS helps keep the local economy going and others employed; think eating out, entertainment, trips, etc. Curtailing that discretionary spending because of the uncertainty of 47’s “policies,” or lack thereof, does nothing to improve anyone’s lives. And, no, the price of our breakfast eggs hasn’t come down. No we didn’t vote for him! One Dem, one Ind.
