Canada has the ability to do the funniest thing right now. They own PornHub.

Anne B's avatar

😂😂😂😂 facts. Imagine all of the white men Republicans who would be so upset!!

Maria K.'s avatar

OMG.... thank you..... I needed that laugh - the possibilities are endless.

Help! I'm Alive:'s avatar

That’s what I’m here for! Trying to find the glimpse of hope in this maelstrom of chaos.

Abbie's avatar

If it wasn't already blocked in half the country 🤣

But all it takes is one to start a trend...

Lauren K's avatar

Well considering project 2025 states they want to get rid of porn….they would get what they want

Help! I'm Alive:'s avatar

What does project 2025 say about getting rid of porn? The Heritage Foundation would take that approach. Meanwhile, I’m curious if there’s any research exploring whether pornography actually stops pedophiles and rapists from acting on their urges.

Bri's avatar

Clinical social worker here, whose niche is working with survivors of sexual violence. Porn has actually been linked to increased normalization of sexual violence and negative views about women.

Thank you very much for popping in to this discussion! Canada 🇨🇦 do your thing!

They deserve every once of violence and hate they get from the world.

Andrew Nduati's avatar

What a fucking disgrace. This fucker is destroying the economy for no reason whatsoever. Fuck Donald Trump and his DUI hires, they need to be eliminated from this world asap.

Sophie Blavet's avatar

Trump is about vengeance and hatred. He will eradicate all the individuals who made fun of him, won against him, proved he is a thief, a traitor, and liar. So, now it is dark revenge.. He will not stop until he is finished. No principles, no humanity, nothing. It is beyond belief.

His ego was hurt, and bruised by the narratives of the heads of states around the world who implied he was an idiot. Now, he is at war... TARIFFS, TARIFFS AND DEPORTATION.... AUTOCRAT...

Andrew Nduati's avatar

And that’s why I’m not calling for his resignation anymore, I’m calling for elimination of a global terrorist (him and his administration). They cannot be allowed to exist anymore.

Geri Guerin's avatar

I would like Congress to do its JOB and bring impeachment proceedings for his blatant power grab by declaring immigration a national emergency. His "efforts" have proven to be a national disaster. Wait until harvest season arrives. In addition to the markets having moved on, domestically grown produce will have no harvesters.

Laura's avatar

Wait till Harvest Season Arrives

They Will Reap What They Sow.....

Eileen's avatar

I couldn’t agree more! This whole presidency for him is a damn joke and we are all sitting ducks. He has really f’ed the US up and someone has to stop him. His GOP party needs to get their damn party together and shut this down.

Laura's avatar

Please can he be impeached, prosecuted, removed.

Dichelle's avatar

His reason is = he hates America. They stopped loaning him money, he was a high loss risk b/c he never paid his bills. Russia was the only place that would lend him money! He's all about retribution - that is what he is doing to the US. Trying to destroy it as pay back! IMO

Karyn Jenius's avatar

It really feels like Trump is getting back at America and with serious vengeance

Laura's avatar

do you have any links/ resources on learning about this?

Geri Guerin's avatar

Dichelle has the facts right. Only one bank would loan him money. My brain hasn't kicked in yet this AM, so I don't have its name handy, but I believe it started with a "C" and was maybe two words.... But now, he's using the American economy as his money pit. That isn't going to end too well for us.

Dichelle's avatar

Hi ~ There are actually several articles dating back to the 80's on how banks thought he was a risk and refused to loan to him. There were up to 70 US banks that wouldn't loan to him (search at npr, cnn money & financial times). Several of the loans from Deutsche were co-signed by russian oligarchs (lawandcrime.com article).

Article written after the Mueller investigation: https://foreignpolicy.com/2018/12/21/how-russian-money-helped-save-trumps-business/

I listened to Hopium Chronicles substack by Simon Rosenberg - he is saying so clearly our country is in the hands of a madman. He was reported on fr the beginning as if he were normal and that normalized , for 10 years now, his insanity. There is no real math behind the tariffs nothing. He is just creating chaos. Exerting sick power.

Mex's avatar

It’s not for no reason. It’s strategic. The rich always get richer during a recession. Also, by implementing these tariffs he has a grip over companies, and if they want an exemption from the tariffs, they have to swear their loyalty to him. This is just an other control tactic

Deborah Lambert's avatar

Everyone that whined about a little inflation… ??

Maria K.'s avatar

.... and price of eggs...

Rob Nelson's avatar

Trump is a Russian asset

JoAnn Britt's avatar

Way to go dumpy pants I just don’t get the benefit to crashing our economy. What does he gain tax breaks for his billionaire boys club he needs to be stopped.

KOB's avatar

It's disaster economics, he's crashing it so his buddies can buy everything on fire sale

Dana Gillihan's avatar

I actually think this may be true.

Betty Gray's avatar

I truly believe this is his retribution against the whole country, for not getting him elected in 2020. Because deep deep down he knows he lost.

Carmen Beaudry's avatar

They crash it intentionally because this then opens up the opportunity for a huuuuuge transfer of wealth UP the chain. To those who already have more.

Can the Grassley (R-IA)-Cantwell (D-WA) bipartisan Senate bill introduced yesterday to reclaim Congressional control over tariffs stop this? Can it pass both houses and undo this?

Taylor's avatar

Senator Grassley introduced the Trade Review Act of 2025, bringing tariff oversight back to Congress where it belongs. This needs to happen ASAP. I already called my senator and my representative and left a message of support with Senator Grassley. I encourage you to call today. Here is a script you can read (courtesy of ChatGPT) -

"Hello, my name is [your name], and I am a constituent from [your county and state]. I'm reaching out to express my strong support for the Trade Review Act of 2025, recently introduced by Senators Chuck Grassley and Maria Cantwell. This bipartisan legislation seeks to restore Congress's constitutional authority over trade policy by requiring congressional approval for any new tariffs imposed by the executive branch. Given the significant impact that tariffs can have on our economy and local communities, it's crucial that such decisions undergo proper legislative oversight. I urge [Senator/Representative's Name] to support this important bill to ensure transparent and balanced trade policies that benefit all Georgians. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter."

Laura's avatar

Thank you! Doing now.

5 Calls app (free download) makes it so easy to call any rep and any Senator...*

For those who don't use the app Capitol Switchboard number is (202) 224-3121 and you can ask for anybody's office.

*on 5 Calls app you can click the ... three dots and the district office numbers pop up I was just able to leave a message on Sen. Grassley line in Des Moines through that function, which is good if voice mail is full.

Otherwise, email through his website!

Taylor's avatar

This is a cool app! Thank you!!!

And as always I say arrest trump for treason! Arrest musk and the whole cabinet and vance for collusion. They all deserve maximum prison sentences

Dianne Bryant's avatar

I saw the video including musk’s tearful claim about Tesla going down.

I don’t care about musk’s sorrow. I still want him arrested for collusion with trump’s treasonist act of throwing out the Constitution of the United States of America!!!

Chelsea's avatar

Russel brand, what are you doing here? That’s sick 🤮

Chelsea's avatar

Ugh he makes my skin crawl!!

Chelsea's avatar

woah name twin 🤞 and same

Dianne Bryant's avatar

Thank you for this horrible news as always, Aaron. I appreciate your work. Good luck tomorrow in DC. We have our demonstration in Marysville, California at Washington Square♥️

Lulu's avatar

Day 75. Are we great yet?

Jean Dean's avatar

Yes! We are greatly imploding. Greatly devolving, greatly supporting the rich, greatly kicking the middle/lower class/disenfranchised to the curb.

Amy Worcester's avatar

On day 76 can we go back to being 'meh'? It seemed so much better then.

Black Raven's avatar

Krasnov pussy ass bitch needs to be in an asylum not the oval office. He and the project 2025 folks and CEO need to go to prison!!! They have this in their evil manifesto. Destroy the economy and have the citizens submit. Mofos. And Krasnov mussolini is happy as a clam putting these policies forth because he's evil and loves to inflict pain. These people are all sociopaths.

Lexie's avatar

Sickos. Their world: fuck women, fuck the middle class, fuck poor people, fuck anyone who isn’t white, or a “Christian.” Destroy our economy and country so his cronies (with their little red socks on 🤡) can buy the pieces up… ugh sorry, I shouldn’t have even started!

Black Raven's avatar

I hear you! No worries.

Suns33k3r's avatar

So I love my Apple phone, but for over 3k? Android

Geri Guerin's avatar

I really like my Samsung!

Carole Boerner's avatar

Androids will be much more expensive too.

Vulnavia Johnson's avatar

Yup. The price of computers, phones, tvs & other electronics are about to cost way more. It’s like people forget that most of the products we use in the US have parts or the whole item made from other countries (mostly from Asian countries) that he places the highest tariffs on.

Mary Tirpok's avatar

Please stay safe and vigilant AP 💙

Aaron, you don’t sound great. Thank you for staying diligent, but we don’t want you to wear yourself out. Get some rest!

Veronica Silva's avatar

It took a worldwide pandemic to put the market low, and now just this regime to put it low again.

Sophie Blavet's avatar

I am so sorry for the American farmers. They are going to be on the front line for the full blast, and tsunami of tariffs. The suffering is going to be immense.... It would be time for them to change colors and be understanding why voting blue would have saved their farms, their crops, and their cattles...
