Today has been a tough day for many of us, and I know it hasn’t been easy. But amidst the challenges, I’m reminded of the strength that comes from community and the unwavering support I’ve received from each and every one of you. Your encouragement and trust in me and my work have carried me through some of the most difficult moments of this journey, and I am forever grateful for that.
I began this work as an independent journalist when Russia first invaded Ukraine. The situation hit incredibly close to home as my family was still in Ukraine, living through the chaos and uncertainty of a war that has reshaped so many lives. I watched from afar, feeling a deep sense of helplessness but also an overwhelming responsibility to report, to share the stories, and to amplify the voices of those who had no other platform. I knew that I had to do something, and so I started down this path of independent journalism.
It’s been a journey filled with both highs and lows, but one thing has remained constant: the mission to speak the truth, challenge the mainstream narratives, and stand with those who need their stories heard. I’m incredibly thankful to have this platform and to have you all supporting me as I continue this work.
Tomorrow evening, I’ll be hosting a paid subscriber Q&A in the comments section, where I’ll answer everyone’s questions. It’s a chance for us to connect more directly, for you to ask me anything about the work I’m doing, the stories I’m covering, or even about my personal journey in this field. I’m excited to engage with all of you and hear your thoughts, questions, and reflections.
We are going through tough times, but together, we are stronger. The challenges may be immense, but the support and solidarity we share make us resilient. I truly believe that when we stand united, we can face anything that comes our way. Let’s keep pushing forward, supporting each other, and continuing to fight for truth and justice.
Thank you once again for your incredible support. I couldn’t do this without you. Let’s keep moving forward, together.
See you in the morning.
Aaron, we stand with you, your family and the people of Ukraine 💙
Aaron, we’re with you. We love you, stand with you, support you and support the people of Ukraine 💙💙💙
