Well, it finally happened—TikTok has officially restricted my account.
Why, you ask? According to their notification, it’s because my content contains “strong, detailed references or discussions about sensitive topics that may be emotionally heavy or distressing.
”
Newsflash: the news is emotionally heavy and distressing.
I don’t make the world this way—I report on it. And I don’t believe in sugarcoating reality just to make platforms more comfortable.
If anything, this proves what I’ve said all along: independent journalism cannot rely on the whims of social media algorithms or tech moderators who are more concerned about tone than truth.
But I’m not going anywhere.
In fact, I’m just getting started.
That’s why I’m doubling—no, tripling—down on this Substack. This space is mine. There are no shadowbans here. No muted reach. No vague “community guidelines” that punish people for telling the truth. Here, I have full editorial control—and I’m building something real, with all of you.
So if you found me through TikTok, or followed my breakdowns there, know this: everything I was doing there, I’m bringing here.
More rundowns. More deep dives. More unfiltered commentary.
No censorship. Just news.
No evening news rundown tonight—the news cycle is calm, and I’m headed to Passover dinner. But don’t mistake the quiet for retreat. I’m not backing down. Not from TikTok, not from the powers that be, not from any of it.
If you believe in journalism that doesn’t flinch—subscribe.
This platform survives because of you. And because of you, we’re going to keep pushing, keep exposing, and keep telling the truth—no matter who tries to silence it.
Let’s go.
I am, in fact, distressed by this news 🙃 glad we have Substack!
Fuck TikTok
