Here is a bullet-point list of all the stories I covered today:

  • Russia has targeted the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in Ukraine, striking reactor number four, the same reactor that exploded in 1986, spreading nuclear fallout across Europe. Thankfully, as it currently stands, despite a fire at the reactor, radiation levels have been contained.

  • The Trump administration has begun mass layoffs in the federal government, starting with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the National Nuclear Security Administration, the agency responsible for handling America’s nuclear weapons arsenal.

  • TikTok is back on the app stores, although the deadline to keep the app around looms (April 5th).

  • Two astronauts on the International Space Station, who Donald Trump and Elon Musk claim to be stranded by the Biden administration, have called out their rhetoric, asking to change the narrative and stating that they were not stranded by the Biden administration.

  • Alarm bells have gone off in military circles after Pete Hegseth invited Jack Posobiec, one of the individuals who spread the Pizzagate conspiracy theory, on his first trip overseas.

  • Louisiana will no longer be conducting mass vaccinations in the state and will no longer promote mass vaccinations.

  • The Associated Press was blocked, for the third day in a row, from entering the Oval Office because it refuses to use the term "Gulf of America."

Today is going to be an extremely busy news day. On a personal note, I am so grateful for all of you and the support that you have shown me. See you this evening for another update.
