One Month Down: Grateful to Live My Dream as an Independent Journalist

It’s official: I am about to finish my first month as a full-time journalist. This has been one of the scariest decisions I’ve ever made, but I know it was the right one. I am truly so grateful to each and everyone of you. Because of your support, I have been able to live out my dream. And, I am just getting started. My primary way of communicating with you all will be through this Substack, and in this article, I’ll outline exactly what you can expect—whether you’re a free or paid subscriber.

Truth be told, the only reason I’ve been able to make this career leap—and sustain it for this past month—is because of your support. Paid subscribers give me the stability to provide accurate, timely news, and if you’d like to become one today, just click the button below:

Free Subscribers:

• You will get access to two daily news rundowns, one in the morning and one in the evening. The morning rundown will be released by 10:00 AM EST on the weekdays and by noon on the weekends. The evening rundown will be released by 5:30 PM EST on the weekdays and by 6:30 PM EST on thew weekends.

• These rundowns will be in both video and text form. Traditionally, they will be full video updates with a bullet point list of the news I cover. If I am traveling, like I am today, the video updates will likely be text-only.

Paid Subscribers:

• You will get access to all of the perks of a free subscriber, but you will also get special access to paid-subscriber only lives with me. The goal will be to host at least one paid-subscriber live per week where I chat with you and answer any questions you have. The next paid subscriber live will be Sunday, March 9th, at 8:00 PM EST.
