Hey everyone —
I was planning to get another report out tonight, but life had other plans… the good kind.
It turns out my wife is throwing me a surprise birthday party tonight. The twist? I just found out — but she doesn’t know I know. So, I’m going to play along, act surprised, and soak it all in. It’s one of those rare moments where real life interrupts the news cycle — and honestly, I’m not complaining.
That means I won’t be by my computer tonight to get you the report I was planning. If something major breaks, I’ll try to sneak away and send a quick update from the party (journalist instincts die hard). But otherwise, I’m taking the night off.
I want to take a second to say thank you. Your support — whether it's reading, sharing, or subscribing — makes this work possible. I don’t take it for granted. Independent journalism only works when there’s a community behind it, and I’m grateful you’re part of mine.
Back to your regularly scheduled programming tomorrow.
Thanks for everything,
Aaron
Aww- that’s nice but I think the cat will be out of the bag with this post. Enjoy your surprise!!!
Please just enjoy your party! Don’t even look at the news, breaking or not, it will still be there when you get back. Have a wonderful birthday.
