Problem is, what if he declares the elections are cancelled and a few Red states go along with him. My fear is that that would invalidate the whole election because it would disenfranchise a state-full of (Red and Blue and Ind) voters.
I doubt even red states would go along, because then pretty much EVERY state and congressional representative from that state would be out of office when their terms expire on January 1, 2027. And their own voters would be furious. Then the new Democratic speaker of the House would be forced to refuse to seat them (since they weren't elected). And there are also some red state senators running for reelection who wouldn't be seated, thus giving total control of congress to the Democrats.

A Florida newspaper reported that the voting machines are not connected to the Internet and once certified they remain certified and the only way they can be removed is through a strict process. So much of what we fear will not happen but the noise they create is the part that’s bothersome to all of us, because it confuses the issue so much. Regarding 2016, and Hillary's loss, polling trends and her internal polling showed she could lose. This is why she did not ask for a recount. Instead, Jill Stein did. Personally, I think Jill felt bad since in some swing states what Jill got in votes was about the same amount Hillary lost by to Trump.

They downplayed the danger we were in, so it was not just outside influencers, but people who should have known better bashing Hillary.

Recounts — Not quite accurate as stated. Stein filed for recounts in three states, not just PA:
Wisconsin: recount completed; Trump's win stood.
Michigan: recount began but was halted by courts (a Michigan appeals court ruled Stein lacked standing since she'd finished fourth).
Pennsylvania: never really got underway — a federal judge rejected it before it started.
Judge Paul Diamond did rule Stein lacked standing because she isn't a Pennsylvania voter and didn't allege a recount would change the results. But that was one of "at least six separate grounds" he cited — he also called the filing "later than last minute," said the hacking theory "borders on the irrational," and cited jurisdictional and deadline problems. So "standing" was the headline reason but not the only one.
Comey testified that the FBI found that only three emails out of the roughly 30,000 reviewed bore markings indicating classified information — meaning three did have some marking, not that they lacked one. Separately, though, the FBI said a much larger number — 113 emails — contained information that was classified at the time it was sent or received, even though almost none of them were marked as such. So the accurate version is: very few emails were marked classified (and even that count was later revised down), but well over a hundred were later determined to contain classified information without markings.

Problem is, what if he declares the elections are cancelled and a few Red states go along with him. My fear is that that would invalidate the whole election because it would disenfranchise a state-full of (Red and Blue and Ind) voters.
I doubt even red states would go along, because then pretty much EVERY state and congressional representative from that state would be out of office when their terms expire on January 1, 2027. And their own voters would be furious. Then the new Democratic speaker of the House would be forced to refuse to seat them (since they weren't elected). And there are also some red state senators running for reelection who wouldn't be seated, thus giving total control of congress to the Democrats.

A Florida newspaper reported that the voting machines are not connected to the Internet and once certified they remain certified and the only way they can be removed is through a strict process. So much of what we fear will not happen but the noise they create is the part that’s bothersome to all of us, because it confuses the issue so much. Not that we have any notes about the integrity but it causes the other people to be concerned and the noise everyone makes will be a distraction from bad stuff that’s illegal that he’s doing.
