Every time they try and censor - it only spikes everyone’s attention to watch, so they shoot themselves in the foot regardless. Good job 👏

Support Jon Ossoff he needs all the help to win in Georgia!

S. A. Linden's avatar

He is certainly appearing presidential for the future.

Same with the SAVE ACT. More married women are in the red states and are republican and poor, looks like a lot of those republican women won't be voting

Edward mead's avatar

WOMEN, Wake UP;/ If a woman is married and Trump gets his racist SAVE ACT passed. The voting worker will ask for your birth certificate, since they are married. These women will have another last name, and that will keep them from voting in 2026. Stephen Miller and Pam Bondi are working at night while most are asleep; they are working to steal an election in 2026 and 2028. Pass to all you know, and ask them to pass to all they know. Donald Trump is not planning on losing his power.

So stop this POS and write your Congress and US Senate to vote NO on the SAVE ACT BILL

Linda Schriner's avatar

I live in NE and we are considered a red state. 3 Congressmen and 2 Senators all Republican. The 3 Congressmen are having a difficult time getting support for reelection. The 1 Senator is facing a tough time too. I call all 5 of them regularly to voice my distain for Trump’s polices. I pray that the midterms turn NE into a blue state.

Patricia Reed's avatar

I have a friend in Lincoln where I once lived. She said your governor isn't helping the state either. I'm back in Maine now and hoping we can dump Susan Collins.

Kevin Mahoney's avatar

WOMEN, Wake up- don't listen to the blatant disinformation this guy's spewing. Anybody with a real ID which is also necessary in order to board an airplane in the Country, is able to legally vote. If you haven't upgraded to a real ID yet you've got PLENTY of time to do so. That's it, it's that simple stop listening to these people and instead spread the truth.

Teresa G's avatar

Exactly , the publicans are cutting off their nose.

They are so stupid they don’t see it

Also the gerrymandering redistricting is going to backfire on them also.

Best thing is that the republicans are so stupid they can’t see it

Colbert and Talarico just received more views than if they would have let that segment air on cbs.

I love Crockett. I think that Talarico for a lot of reasons has a better chance of winning.

I was disappointed that they are running against each other

In this political climate and being Texas, Talarico has a better chance of winning for some obvious reasons.

Luckily I don’t live in Texas and do not have to decide.

Unfortunately I live in a very red maga state.

Vera Waldon's avatar

I agree with you absolutely.

I live in Kentucky home of James Comer, pedophile enabler and protector and likely one himself. Fortunately, however, we also have a great man (although republican) Thomas Massie. Another thing that makes us lucky, despite being extraordinary red, is we have Andy Brashear. He's pulled jobs and economic stability into our state since he first became governor. He's pro people of Kentucky, if he wasn't he wouldn't have gotten a second term.

I like James Talarico. He would be good for Texas.

Nancy Endersby's avatar

So happy to hear your comment on Andy and Thomas. The one I have always been confused by is the continual re-election of Mitch McConnell.

Vera Waldon's avatar

Mitch McConnell is, to say the least, worthless

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I don't get why they went to the mat for an interview with James Talarico. Even if someone at the White House believes it would be easier to beat his primary opponent Jasmine Crockett in the general election (I think they're wrong), this is really a niche Democratic primary. Probably more than 95% of Americans never heard of James Talarico and that number would not significantly change if the interview had aired. This White House is choosing weird things to be paranoid about. And CBS is working hard to diminish itself into irrelevancy.

S. A. Linden's avatar

Talarico is getting a lot of air time through blue-friendly venues. They're terrified that he might put a crack in the Christian nationalism that MAGAs depend on to get elected in target states.

Like Leonard Cohen wrote, a crack is where the light gets in.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I hardly think one obscure Texas candidate can "put a crack" in a movement that has strategically been working to enact Christian nationalism for decades, funded by big money donors. Christian nationalist is powerful, and one pleasant Texas isn't going to crack it wide open.

C McDonald's avatar

Any crack of light makes a difference. Native Texan who moved out of state long ago, still go back to visit family, knows any blue candidate in a red hell state utterly matters.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

And Crockett could create a fault line by turning out Black and female voters. It's hard to predict who will turn out and how they will vote.

Brian Burrell's avatar

I said it above. Talarico makes too much real sense. Can’t have Americans hearing that!

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Whether he makes sense or not isn't relevant. What is relevant is that this is a Democratic primary he's running in so the only impacted candidate is Jasmine Crockett. She makes sense on an epic level, although I get that many on our side cannot see past her being a Black woman.

colleen rose's avatar

We Need STRONG Dems. Jasmine Crockett is stong. Though I really like James Talarico, I think he's too nice.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

It's funny how we gripe about Democrats who aren't being wildly, even recklessly, outspoken, but when one steps up, we wilt and go, "oh no no no, we have to go with a pleasant white guy."

C McDonald's avatar

We need all blue candidates we can get. Only one will win, but it helps those other blue candidates get experience down the road. You have to start somewhere.

Linda Harris's avatar

Anastasia, I think they did it to show that they could. It could have been anyone running for a democratic office and wanting to go on any of trump's state-run media like CBS, FOX, Newsmax for example.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

So you think they will have a blanket ban on all Democratic candidates no matter how obscure?

Linda Harris's avatar

I think it is quite possible that some or many in the trump adm are following all democratic elections that could impact the 2026 elections or the republicans that are running.

Kate's avatar

Yay New Mexico!!!!! F*^k Trump!!!!!

Linda Lou's avatar

America where are you??? This has got to stop! We need leaders who respect and support all people! Power over Morality! Power rather than our Constitution! Power rather than Truth!

Linda Harris's avatar

It's time to boycott CBS and its parent company and all companies that advertise, and thus support, CBS

Hmyvoicecounts's avatar

No surprise - 🚽👑 is VERY AFRAID of an actual Christian person running for public office. Someone who is intelligent, compassionate, wise & a good communicator. (Someone who, I hope, will become president in 2028!)

But this also explains why I don’t regret cancelling my Paramount+ subscription.

J Chambers's avatar

Is it true that the new owners of Zorro Ranch have a son who works in the Trump Administration?

MC's avatar

Yup. Trump world is small. Also, A Christian retreat means an indoctrination center. Today’s Christianity is counter to the teachings of Christ.

Janice Darling's avatar

Or a place for the so-called pseudo Christian “leaders” to retreat for private hanky panky where they won’t get caught, as they have been caught so often on their own. A little bit like the Handmaids Tale?

The new owner is currently running for State Comptroller in Texas.

JamesF's avatar

Did I just donate more money to James Talarico even though I don’t live in Texas. Why yes I did!

jenny b's avatar

(Except now there’s Jasmine Crockett and I LOVE HER, too) wondering what’s going to come of that campaign and election. I wish they could figure out a way to come together

JamesF's avatar

Very true. I love her too. I’m in California and trying to decide who’s the best candidate for Governor here. My rep is Issa who’s horrid, I never vote for him but I’m in a maga area unfortunately.

jenny b's avatar

Ooooffff that’s rough. I’m from Cali (been in DC for a couple decades now) It is NOT what it used to be. My college friends are NOT who they used to be…the whole vibe I used to have so much pride in is GONE.

JamesF's avatar

I lived in Tennessee for about 4 years because my husband is from there. It was during the pandemic and it was horrible. We came back to California and I was so relieved. Now trump Trying to red state our country has traumatized me a bit.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Oh he's horrible. I've been advocating for years for his removal from the Cleveland Heights High School Alumni Hall of Fame (he went there before he dropped out to become a car thief and suspected arsonist.) (I live in Cleveland Heights.)

One Mom's avatar

What about Swalwell? His videos are fantastic.

Elizabeth Guss's avatar

The most important question: who can beat the Republican.

jenny b's avatar

I know 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ I feel like I know the answer and I HATE THAT.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

I don't think that is at all clear. We tend to have knee-jerk responses to this ("always go with the smooth white guy") but elections can surprise you.

Elizabeth Guss's avatar

You chose that interpretation of what I wrote.

Ellie Erickson's avatar

She's a bad ass. I love her too.

One Mom's avatar

They are both great! Vote one in and then the other! They would be a stellar team!

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

This is what confuses me. If we still HAD an "equal time" rule, it would seem like Colbert would fulfill it by interviewing Crockett which I can't imagine would be difficult or he would object to.

Carrie 🇨🇦's avatar

That isn't what the equal time law means... Colbert would have to give equal time to a republican - except they won't go on his show.

Ronald Regean killed that equal times act back in the 1908s. It isn't a thing anymore

Carrie 🇨🇦's avatar

I love Jasmine Crockett, but beating the current Texas Senator is the goal... and in racist Texas I think Talarico has a better chance to win over her - and it pains me to say that because she is in my top 5 favorites in Congress.

jenny b's avatar

I know 🥺 Carrie I just want people to not be so dumb and mean **enter primal scream, here**

Mizz G's avatar

Love them both… maybe a job share?? 🤔

jenny b's avatar

THIS IS ALL IM SAYIN! 😂 is it really asking soooo much?!?

Peggy's avatar

They need to divide and conquer and not run against each other. They both would bring invaluable contributions to Congress. I wish they would, please, leverage one another's strengths and not oppose each other. We need both of their voices to fight against the evil America has experienced under the Trump administration.

jenny b's avatar

This is the such a great way of putting it 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

One Mom's avatar

Vote them both in! One at a time. They would be a brilliant team.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

"Come together" how? There's a primary. One of them will win. That one will then run against Cornyn or (shudder) Paxton and then we'll come together behind them.

jenny b's avatar

Yes, I know how it works. Lol. I was just being a dreamer for a sec, that’s all. Like, it would be nice to get the best of both of them at the same time.

JavaJunkyMonkey's avatar

This Texan thanks you. 🤠

Susan To's avatar

Great idea! I love Talarico's message so I will send him a contribution also

JamesF's avatar

I figure helping decent people get elected in Texas will help us all in the long run. We need people who aren’t afraid to stand up to Trump!

jenny b's avatar

I am paying attention to who is NOT taking CORPORATE billionaire funding for their campaign…they will be getting my money

JamesF's avatar

Yes exactly. I need to dig in to the candidates. I also plan on stopping buying from any billionaires or corporations who donate to

Him or invest in the private prisons.

JamesF's avatar

Thank you. I’m in California and my senators stand up to Trump often so I figure the more representation in the senate we get who have backbones it helps us all. I should donate to Crockett too. I like them both. I would have a hard time choosing.

Jamesey Coats's avatar

Nice.

So soothing to learn of motivated, generous, non-insane fellow-citizens

Amy Mitchell's avatar

So have I and it is my first time ever however, it shall not be my last donation.

One Mom's avatar

Same! 🙋‍♀️

jenny b's avatar

Same, but months ago!

JamesF's avatar

I already donated some a month ago but I was feeling generous and petty this morning. I will do anything I can to spite this administration. 😂

S. A. Linden's avatar

Interesting point. If the feds decide to muscle in, it might create a problem for NM, a blue state. Similar to MN.

Michele Sutton's avatar

I’m going to pray that NM will not have to deal with any outside interference.

Carrie 🇨🇦's avatar

NM is investigating for state and local crimes. The Feds don't have jurisdiction for state crimes

Melanie A Summers's avatar

Mmmhmm. Aaaand given the recent alignment of ‘American Christianity’ with this Administration, and what’s been going on with the Epstein Class, does anyone imagine that under the new name it’ll operate differently?

Morgana MacLeod's avatar

I'm going to call bullshit on them turning Zoro Ranch into a Christian place. it's Christian nationalist that groom children I think they're just going to pretend that it's a religious retreat and keep doing what Epstein was doing I hope they dig under that place because they're supposed to be a lot of Laboratories underneath it. so I hope they find the entrances they don't just surface check it there's a lot underneath that place. and as far as CBS goes well they can forget about the American people subscribing to them because we'll do to them exactly what we did to other platforms like Disney. see how long they like it. and they will end up allowing James Talerico on. thank you Aaron

Marilyn Joy's avatar

Religious retreat or a conversion camp?

Stacey Laney's avatar

While I’m sure TONS of evidence has been intentionally removed and destroyed (major excavation was already reported), I’m hoping that thorough FORENSIC investigation will be done.

Some things WILL be found. The question is: will the investigation be attacked and silenced.

Amelia Adams's avatar

IMAGINE…. Purchasing a ranch to help quickly thwart an investigation of trafficking/ abuse/ murder…peoples children, sisters, family, dumped in pits!!! WTF?!?!….MAGA followers/ supporters are SO morally corrupt & slimy. Barely a biological person ( wouldn't ever say human)… gross

Stacey Laney's avatar

Horrible.

But I believe the earth will give up their secrets. ♥️

Blanca's avatar

That place would need to be exorcised , and never use to worship !

Diana Santos's avatar

Unfortunately I agree. But cleaning up bodies may have been hard to do without leaving something behind. I will be shocked if they find any evidence.

Jan Abendroth's avatar

Long overdue! Thankfully, any names revealed can’t be concealed! Even though the ranch is supposed to be ‘Christian,’ the new owner is MAGA! If he believes white Christian nationalism follows Jesus’ teachings, I must object to the new ranch calling itself ‘Christian!’ The Bible tells us to love God and have no other Gods before him. The Bible also says to love your neighbor as yourself! There’s absolutely nothing Christlike when it comes to the treatment of immigrants and the CONCENTRATION CAMPS MAGA has created! Even people on death row are treated better!!

FINALLY! Where else did Epstein own properties. EPSTEIN FILES. RENEE NICOLE GOOD, JEFFREY PRETTI, KEITH PORTER SR.
