This is true His nephew, Fred,Jr, put it in an article. Fred has a 23 year old son who is severely disabled. He went to the White House with a group to talk about care for disabled. When it was over, Uncle Don asked Fred to stay behind just to say hello - he said this to Fred - even though he knew about Fred's son.

No offense to witches, who are historically misunderstood. That Stephen King quote has mileage: “this is more evil than any fictional evil character [he] has ever written”. Also that Shelonia Musky quote: “empathy is weakness”. No kidding. Noam Chomsky, in reflection of Nazi history, also said something like he hasn’t quite found a word to describe this…”evil” doesn’t quite capture this combination of apathy, greed, and profiteering off the backs of the common citizen in the most financially/economically/medically devastating way possible.

What a shame because University of Iowa is home to great STEM, etc, and the state and people feeds the nation.

This is not left vs right. It’s top vs the rest of us.

This is evil vs. humanity. They don’t care about anyone not even their own family members that will effected by these things they are doing. Heartless, racist, corrupt, greedy, lack empathy and sympathy- these are who those people voted in the office and I am sick of hearing them say they make a mistake because the felon told them exactly what was going to do

Every single "pro-life" representative, Senator, judge, evangelical pastor and congregate, along with every millionaire and billionaire should be required to:

1.Register to adopt newborns.

2. Register to foster children who've been removed from their family crisis and given to the state.

3. Sponsor parents who want to adopt but can't afford the fees.

4. Compensate the birthmothers for their time, sacrifice, and the follow up counseling they'll need for giving up a full term baby they've labored at least 8hrs (and often more) to bring into the world.

They should 100% put money into a system they so vehemently support.

Sometimes I think people don’t realize that we’re talking about blood pressure medication, diabetes medication, thyroid medication asthma medication medication for emphysema and COPD. People are going to die if they don’t have access to these medications. It doesn’t have to be fancy, you know, it’s not so much that people won’t get their colonoscopy or their MRI—although that’s important too—but just routine primary care for conditions that are manageable. If people don’t have access to medical care they can’t manage manageable conditions. That’s what’s so disgusting and terrifying about all of this.

Haha yes I hear you! But I was referring to some commentators here on Substack or on YouTube who are on “our side” but who don’t always seem to be aware of what it means and they’ll sort of say that you know it’s going to be denial of of SNAP benefits, or problems with finding daycare—all of these legitimate problems, but I don’t think a lot of healthy middle-aged people— including commentators on Substack and YouTube—realize how many people in this country will die just from losing access to common prescription drugs. And while I’m at it, I can also add that Black Americans and other people of color are more affected by these conditions than white people, and there’s also of course a socioeconomic dimension to this.

Would any of them in office last year say anything like what we've been hearing in these town halls?
