Congrats on the journalist cred Aaron! Totally deserved and past time!

BQR's avatar

*past time 😬 early onset brain deadness

Marci's avatar

WE are the shithole country now. People from Norway and Sweden don't want to come here. I wish this old Nazi would succumb to the cholesterol.

Catt woman's avatar

A lot of us have intermittent brain deadness at this point. At least we aren’t destroying the world because of it, as some others who shall remain nameless! You are in good company.

Fox.or.Ox's avatar

Onset? He has always been that way, but had a better way to hide it up earlier.

Beth Witrogen's avatar

It's called autocorrect :)

My fingers hit every word but the right one but recently I’ve started typing the wrong words automatically. It’s weird. “Won” and “one” yesterday. My brain is damaged by my interactions with MAGA.

Beth Witrogen's avatar

that is strange but sometimes it happens. I'm hating all the AI updates that reorganize apps etc. and not being able to find what I used to have bookmarked

BQR's avatar

Me too! You know what I’ve had it with?COOKIES! Every site wants me to agree to their cookies and I can’t believe that it’s every website. I’ve never seen anything like that in the 35 years I’ve been online!

Hi Aaron,

Thanks for your reporting. I’m thinking the Republicans will invoke the 25th amendment before the midterms- to elevate Vance, who although is creepy as hell, can be counted on to stay on message. If Trump is impeached, does his vp go too? I sure hope so. If anyone else wants information on what is most likely happening to Trump read and subscribe to the excellent Substack by Frank George PhD the Gaslight Report.

Anastasia Pantsios's avatar

Vance isn't widely liked by anyone, and simply doesn't have the cachet to Trump voters, who would stay home in droves, so this move would be suicidal.

M.Wilson's avatar

I don't know about the remainder of the Truth Social post but the excerpt wasn't constructed with the normal ranting. It's has more flavor of a toned down mimicked version of his style. Darn it. He reveals so much of himself and mental state when left to his own device.

Notice also, no one ever mention businesses that employ the undocumented, must less reform through severe punishment of businesses that welcomed undocumented immigrants with open arms for employment that enticed others to follow.

Weezy's avatar

So it was okay for them to attack Biden and bring up things about his mental decline but not dear leader.

Helga Fellay's avatar

And dear leader, who is anything but dear and more a terrorist than a leader, has even more mental decline than Biden did.

Sylvia Elsner's avatar

My thoughts exactly.

BQR's avatar

Do I look like a MAGAt to you? My name is BlueQueen. Please stand down. Good day sir! I said good day! (Willy Wonka to grandpa Joe BTWs)

Eric Glover's avatar

Yes, Trump needs to look into the mirror!

Beth Witrogen's avatar

Exactly. Because ... hypocrisy, stupidity, ignorance, cruelty, etc

BQR's avatar

What? wtf are you attacking me for? When did I say that?

Debbie Stroud's avatar

Definitely well deserved.

Mary Lynn Culver's avatar

Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland are countries that support their people in ways only dreamed of in USA. Why on Earth would they want to come here when they are some of the happiest people in the world. These countries have social policies in place. tRUMP is delusional.

Peter Tey's avatar

Exactly, when I heard that I started to laugh. If he reformed this country in that direction, may be, but we go in the opposite direction, withholding SNAP, increasing health costs, withholding vaccinations.etc

Suze's avatar

Yep — no one in the world wants to come to the United States who has a decent life somewhere else, but now even the poor and bedraggled people in poor countries are having it worse if they enter the United States. Not worth it to anyone to be in the United States anymore — even us!

Peter Tey's avatar

True . Even us sometimes.

Peter Tey's avatar

Delusional is the word

Miriambis's avatar

And the people of the mentioned countries are also very accepting of the diversity of our own people. I agree, why would I come here if I’ll be harassed or snatched up by the current Gestapo!! Norway & Finland were treated horribly by Hitler & the Nazi regime during WW2.Sweden was neutral.

Cheryl Hooper's avatar

I came to say the exact same thing. Why would they ever want to come live here

Peter Tey's avatar

Include the Netherlands, I have lived there and still have siblings there. They feel sorry for me and my family. But we came here a very lng time ago when America was the land of the free and promise

Mike Hammer's avatar

Indeed, if there was an MRI performed on his brain it would have had a sign “out to lunch” or heavily redacted.

Candace Lucas's avatar

didn't he just say he's had 3 cognitive tests done this year? Nobody has even one test done unless there is some question as to the cognitive abilities. I'm 76. Nobody has ever asked me to take one because they know i have all my marbles.

Terri H.'s avatar

And the way he uses it as a flex. Acting like it makes him some sort of super genius and thinking that the whole country believes him. It's maddening.

Deb Fyfe's avatar

Exactly! He pointed to the female reporter and said 'You would fail!' He is just not the brightest or the most mature. 🤡💩🎃🤬

Candace Lucas's avatar

Wouldn’t it be fun if one of those reporters actually had one of those tests with them and challenged trump to a “test off”. They’d pass, he’d fail.

Mike Hammer's avatar

There’s no scientific basis for any of these purported “preventive screening” tests as they contain many false positives and negatives, for sensitivity that their clinical utility does not exist. :

Tim_TEC's avatar

Absolutely correct. No doctor orders an MRI just as a screening test with no concern about underlying medical condition. No patient would agree to get one without cause since getting MRIs is a bad experience. You have to lay on a cold hard table in a small little tube while the machine loudly clanks around you for a half hour or more.

EileenOR's avatar

AI Response to your description of an MRI:

While that description captures common elements of the experience, the reality can vary, and measures are taken to make it more manageable. The general description is largely accurate for a traditional MRI, but here are the specifics:

Cold Hard Table: MRI tables are firm, and the room is typically kept cool to maintain the machine's magnets [1]. You can usually ask for a blanket to stay warm. The "hard" surface is necessary for stability during the scan.

Small Little Tube: Many traditional MRI machines involve sliding into a narrow, confined space. The feeling of being in a "tube" is accurate [1]. For individuals with claustrophobia, this is a significant concern. However, there are now also "open" MRI machines with wider openings or a completely open design, which may be an option depending on the type of scan needed [1].

Loudly Clanks Around: The machine does make very loud knocking, clanking, and buzzing noises as the magnetic field changes rapidly [1]. This is perhaps the most universally accurate part of the description. To manage this, patients are always provided with earplugs or headphones, often through which music can be played [1].

Half Hour or More: The duration varies greatly depending on the specific body part being scanned and the number of images required. While some scans can be completed in 15–20 minutes, others can indeed last 30 minutes, an hour, or even longer [1].

In summary, the experience is not typically designed for comfort, but hospitals and imaging centers take steps to mitigate the less pleasant aspects, such as offering blankets, ear protection, and sometimes music, and offering open MRI options for those who need them [1]. "

My personal response:

Really, having an MRI is not nearly as bad as having a root canal! Some of the rhythms of the clanks are quite interesting and you can sing along in your head. :)

Candace Lucas's avatar

. I had one done for a deviated septum and one for my heart. In both cases the table slid me in and out a couple times. 10 minutes max. My daughter just had one for her back. It was more what you described so it just depends on what they are scanning for. I think if they have to go through a lot of bone, like the skull, it takes longer

Or just the 3 dots shown in texting…

This past year has been a train wreck. I don't know why any GOP politicians would think that anyone will ever vote for them again.

Eric Glover's avatar

Really! When the GOP start resigning and following MTG out the door I will start sleeping better again! That's really going to be something when the Dems become majority in House before any elections! 🤔🤣😂👌

Marla Abe's avatar

Thanks for the good coverage. I compare the health of 79 year old Trump with the health of my 79 year old husband. My husband doesn't fall asleep in meetings, walks 2 miles a day at least, carries groceries for people, and gets regular and good medical check ups. His speech is clear and makes sense.

Anthony Rupert's avatar

Hey, Trump, people shouldn’t be allowed to talk negatively about you? Maybe we’ll stop if you stop first.

turbie's avatar

Congrats, Aaron! I hope your reporting continues to inform and uplift the important news of our time.

Aaron Parnas's avatar

Thank you!!!

Lois Lyon's avatar

Sooo… then him calling Biden ‘sleepy Joe' was sedition!

Anthony Rupert's avatar

Unable to stay on message? Trump was unable to even stay awake.

B. Wells's avatar

He has never stayed on message.

Oubliette's avatar

He was soooo late. He kept playing music that he shouldn’t play, and he kept repeating his speech. Like he looped. Badly. And he talked about “secure borders” that would unalive you. “It would be a record if you get to the second/third barrier”. And the crowd cheered???? He is bad enough. The people fawning over him are scary. They don’t understand how bad the things he says are.

Blue Witch's avatar

I believe the people cheering Trump along are just as evil as he is, just as racist, just as homo- and transphobic, and just as misogynist. They understand what he says and what he wants, and they are so debased that they think Trump's objectives are good for them.

I see no reason to think Trump's supporters are not just as rotten and hateful as he is. There have always been "John Birchers" and other retrograde fascists in the USA.

Peter Tey's avatar

They share his delusions. Many believe that these are just temporary, and things will get better,.Mike Johnson said to RELAX, NEXT YEAR WILL BE BETTER , when the Big Beautiful Bill kicks in

Deanna Chilian's avatar

He's odious. But the real sad state of affairs are the people standing behind him, laughing at his racism and ignorance.

Peter Tey's avatar

But using their positions to enrich themselves, I read Stephen Miller is delving in stocks and even buying up bankrupt farms like other millionaires

Deb Fyfe's avatar

I read that also. And Vance has been doing the same. Corrupt. That's the only way to describe this admin. Well, corrupt and incompetent. Full of 🤡💩🎃.

AZDem's avatar

It was a Hate Rally. Just so gross. 🤮

Sukey Pett's avatar

Trump doesn't need anyone to make him look bad. He can do that all by himself.

Claire Read, PhD's avatar

At least he’s consistent with something LOL 😆!

He's bonkers, and his mental condition makes him unfit to serve. lol so it's seditious and treasonous to say this? neat.

Natalia's avatar

I’d consider upgrading more seriously if you would please stop starting every comment with “major Breaking news.”

Aaron Parnas's avatar

I hear you and will take that constructive feedback into account for sure! I did not say breaking news in this update because it is not breaking, but it is a major update. But, I hear you! Thanks for reading and watching :)

Vermontana's avatar

Because the words describing politics Left and Right are sometimes toxic to each other and are often meaningless, I think it might be fair as well as more inclusive to describe that a new center is emerging: One that seeks integrity, consensus, respect, authenticity, and honest dealing.

Peter Tey's avatar

Is there. Tell me where i can read about it more

Julie's avatar

Awww i like it. I like hearing whether its just another day ho hum or something significant!

AK's avatar

And our president and his regime are going by the Nazi playbook. They do things 10 times a day at weird times of the day to keep up breaking news — weekends even — to keep everyone on their toes. It’s a tactic. It’s not that journalists are being dramatic. It’s the chaos spread by these Narcissists in power to panic and disorientate us all.

DJT Luvsputin's avatar

BREAKING NEWS… Aaron stops saying Breaking News.

CanadaIsNotForSale's avatar

HaHa. One of the things that peeve me is everyday Daivid Muirs' ABC newscast starts with breaking news but if you are in tune with things you already knew about it. At least here I get new news not seen on other posts many times. But I think it is breaking because , at least for me, the first place I often found out a new development or story is with Aaron. The non-political information is good too know as well - especially the good news type.

Sally Devoe's avatar

Love your account name “CanadaisNotForSale” 🇨🇦

Robot Bender's avatar

"Breaking" or "broken?" /snark

Catt woman's avatar

If that’s all you have to complain about, we’re good here!

EileenOR's avatar

Apparently it wasn't all she had to complain about...

Natalia's avatar

Taking the tone down a notch would be helpful. We already know everything is essentially a 5 alarm fire. (I can probably find more “to complain about…) 😉

EileenOR's avatar

That is obviously true!

Sally Devoe's avatar

Please don’t 🤣🇨🇦

Gina Newton's avatar

In Palmas defense, 99.9% of what he reports is important news. The real problem is that this current administration does something so egregious almost every single day!!!

Natalia's avatar

Then it was “major news” which is in the same category meaning less hysteric although a majority of the time these days that could be considered warranted.

EileenOR's avatar

Have you finished repeating yourself? I hope so.

Candace Lucas's avatar

at least both he and Ben stopped posting every post with Urgent. :)

Trump has always been mentally weak. He is a bully w a 3rd grade vocabulary.

Santiago's avatar

It’s absolutely disgusting listening to all the people laughing and cheering and smiling at everything he says even when he repeatedly shows he’s such a POS. But not surprising considering that most MAGAts are just the scum on the bottom of the boot of America.
