Dialysis can be a pretty debilitating 4-hr or so process, as I recall from my social work days, depending on which mode is used. Unlikely to be able to be up all night posting random complaints and thoughts, nor to do a lot of air travel, nor doing long stairs, etc. Maybe it's some other affliction. He doesn't seem to move much, no recent photos out on the links. Perhaps they have him doing some physical therapy in the a.m.s hoping to improve conditioning and help him sleep better. It could be so many things large and small, really. I don't wish him ill, just to resign sooner than later. That malevolent gaze affects everyone.

I used to love 60 minutes... that was the one show that I watched religiously every Sunday night. it is heartbreaking to see what has happened and I hope all of the 60 minutes staff will find a home somewhere else and will continue their great reporting.

Dialysis can be a pretty debilitating 4-hr or so process, as I recall from my social work days, depending on which mode is used. Unlikely to be able to be up all night posting random complaints and thoughts, nor to do a lot of air travel, nor doing long stairs, etc. Maybe it's some other affliction. He doesn't seem to move much, no recent photos out on the links. Perhaps they have him doing some physical therapy in the a.m.s hoping to improve conditioning and help him sleep better. It could be so many things large and small, really. I don't wish him ill, just to resign sooner than later. That malevolent gaze affects everyone.

People are significantly sick --or were, back then -- when at the point of needing dialysis. It can help them live for a fair amount of time, other factors being good.

I was up late so saw the ruling last night. I guess the lower courts have no jurisdiction over their own states any more. Alabama and SC chose not to use the new maps and now in the Shadow Docket, they overturn the will of the state once more. There have been SCOTUS courts that weren't great; but this court takes the cake with corruption.
The Court has always been a reactionary obstacle directly pitted against democratic reform and the interests of the majority, with the exception of the brief period between the Warren court and maybe the Rehnquist years. It's hopelessly politicized now, just a rubber stamp for the Epstein class.

We put her into a 'whole person' type program the school had just started. The first thing the program director told us parents was "Your children can't read." Again, very very well ranked school & a good student.

I used to love 60 minutes... that was the one show that I watched religiously every Sunday night. it is heartbreaking to see what has happened and I hope all of the 60 minutes staff will find a home somewhere else and will continue their great reporting.
