Bigger issue was my health insurance premiums went up about 80% in January, but nobody's talking about that right now. Maybe when the Big Beautiful Bill takes effect in 2028. Only one insurance company in my state, so it's pay or don't have insurance. Things are so great in Trumpistan right now, I'm actually getting a tiny bit tired of winning.

If you take one right home and pick the meat off while it's still hot, you will get a lot more meat than if you wait until it's cold. It's messy but well worth the effort. I love Costco for some things because it's still cheaper to go there than it is in the regular grocery store. Folger's coffee is when I buy regularly there. It is a lot cheaper than a regular grocery store for instance. I also like them because they sued Trump over the tariffs.

My late husband was on SS and it was the same thing. Get a raise of about $23 per month, but Medicare premiums go up by $40. You absolutely can't win.
