So much goodness. My good news is that I walked/ran my first ever 10k 2 weeks before my 66th birthday and raised over $1300 for the food bank. I was the top individual fund raiser.
AND the numbers that took part in the 5/10k were double from last year.
I am an American in Sweden trying to find a medical treatment or cure for my rare disease, ataxia. I met with a neurologist on Thursday for the first time, and I hope that we can work on a gene therapy. I really appreciate you sharing this!
I hope you find something! Let me know because I also have ataxia, it's a symptom of Functional Neurological Disorder in me. We can be rare together!
I smacked my arm across my partner's face while I was half asleep the other night 😳 my sleep meds had started wearing off early. I feel terrible still! (Better than throwing a cup of juice all over myself though!) Take care friend 😊
good news for me is my son is living with me hadn't seen him in three years. and yesterday we bought a car together. I have been without a vehicle for a year. so we are both very happy 😊. A piece of good news about me…? I finished writing my book. Now I need to do some basic editing before I shop around but it’s done. That’s a really big deal for me.
I recently attended my 50th high school class reunion. I have reconnected with several of my friends and at least once a week. I’m meeting with someone. For years I lived alone with very limited contact with anybody so this is very good news.
Thank you for this message. It is another aspect to the cruelty of this regime. I firmly believe that a special bond develops with rescued pets and their people.
My mom adopted a chihuahua Pomeranian mix rescue in 2012. When she passed in 2016, I adopted him and was lucky to have him five more years. I look forward to adopting a rescue again when I’m able. Until then I try to support local shelters.
I work with young people (14-22) trying to earn their HS diploma. They often are poor and have a history of trauma. Two current students sent me messages of "Happy Thanksgiving" and one of my 2022 grads was the CNA helping my mom.

My good news is that a black cat I adopted from the shelter turned out to be a pure Bombay, the most gorgeous and loving cat but acts like a dog. 🐕

My good news is actually about the grandson - starts his first job today. I texted him a ‘Have a great day at work’ text (surprised when he answered).
My good news is I started back to work again. Somewhere I feel loved and appreciated! it truly makes a difference.
