I'm an Independent Journalist, and I am not Afraid of Donald Trump or MAGA.

I will not stop providing the general public with the unvarnished truth.

I am an independent journalist, and I am not afraid of Donald Trump or his MAGA allies. Ever since Donald Trump first announced his candidacy back in 2015, he has launched an assault on the free press in America. Those attacks have only increased since he won in November. While many in the “mainstream” media capitulate to Trump and his threats, as an independent journalist, I am not beholden to anyone but my readers and my viewers. In other words, the only people I am beholden to is you.

For those of you who don’t know much about my background, in 2013, I began attending college at the Florida Atlantic University at the age of 14. I then graduated college in 2017 at the age of 18, with a double major in political science and criminal justice. Then, I went to The George Washington University Law School where I graduated with a law degree at just 21 years old, one of the youngest ever to do so. Since graduating law school, I have worked for multiple law firms, large and small, and clerked with a federal judge in Florida.

In 2022, I opened up a TikTok account to provide accurate, timely news updates about my family in Ukraine because I felt as though legacy media just was not doing enough. Since then, I have continued providing timely, accurate coverage of current events, domestic and international, on all of my social media platforms. As a result, my TikTok has now gained more than 1.6 million followers, and I have more than 2 million followers across all my platforms.

Many folks ask me why I do this work, and the answer is simple: there aren’t enough young people in media. Legacy media has failed young Americans, and Americans generally, by not elevating young voices, while simultaneously elevating opinionated and biased talking heads to deliver the “news.” It’s not right, and I am working to try to change that.

At the same time, since the November 2024 election, mainstream media failed us. Mainstream media has capitulated to Donald Trump because it fears him. Well, I don’t fear him. I have seen the inside of MAGA world. I have been a fly on the wall in meetings involving back channel deals with Venezuela and others. I know what MAGA world is capable of, and I will never back down.

That’s why, over the next four years and beyond, I will use this SubStack to share with you all accurate, timely news, while also sharing my thoughts on the general media landscape in our nation.
