Tonight, the news slowed down just a bit—and so I wanted to take this moment to share something more personal (again).
After taking last night off, I feel genuinely rejuvenated and excited. That short pause reminded me of something simple but important: the news will always be there, but my mental health needs care and attention if I'm going to keep showing up with clarity, energy, and purpose.
Stepping back, even briefly, made something clear—I’m in this for the long haul. And that means protecting my well-being now so I can keep reporting with integrity and urgency tomorrow, next week, and long into the future.
So here's the update: I'm back. Fully recharged. And I’m not going anywhere.
I'll continue doing what I do—reporting around the clock, chasing stories that matter—while also giving myself permission to take the occasional night off when it's needed. That balance isn't weakness; it's sustainability.
I also want to thank you for the way you've responded to my recent subscription asks. Your subscriptions, your support, your belief in this work—it all fuels me. It reaffirms why staying independent matters: no corporate sponsors, no editorial compromises, just a direct line between you and me.
There are a few exciting projects in the works that I hope to share soon. But until then, just know: a better-rested, sharper, and more determined version of me is back on the beat.
And hey—if these personal notes aren’t your thing, no worries. The news will return in the morning, just as relentless as ever.
Thank you, truly, for being here.
We love and trust you. Smell the roses and breathe. You need your time.
Thank you for all that you do. ❤️ We truly appreciate it.
