I'm telling you what all these cancer breakthroughs especially the mRna treatments are giving me so much hope and happiness! Science and scientists are so important for our continued progress.

The good news about glioblastoma treatment is quite encouraging. My husband suffered for two years from treatments for a glioblastoma before succumbing to the disease. I believe it is the worst of all the cancers, because it destroys parts of the brain, changing the person’s entire personality and bodily functions, before eventually killing the person. I really hope this new treatment proves to be the success they think it will be.

Thank you, Michelle, for sharing this.

My husband has Alzheimer's dementia and I was wondering what the similarities might be. I learned that glioblastoma is a genetic disease, exhibiting as a brain tumor.

We've done several brain scans, showing deterioration, but no tumor. The change in a person's entire personality and bodily functions is the same, but not all of the symptoms are.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

I can only hope that scientific research isn't phased out by this terrorist regime, so that these myriad brain diseases don't always present as a fatal diagnosis.

Hmmmm—“Scientists at the University of Florida created a personalized mRNA vaccine that, in early human trials, rapidly reprogrammed patients’ immune systems to attack glioblastoma within 48 hours”…. And isn’t this the very type of vaccine that brilliant RFK, Jr is trying to sow distrust of and which he destroyed $500 million dollars of funding funding for, in relation to Covid-19 and the flu? And they developed it in Florida —somehow that seems like an extra sweet affront to his vaccine idiocy…

For some reason, I never received the morning edition yesterday. But a friend shared with me that you named my state, New Mexico, as a “red” state. You may now already know this, but NM is actually a BLUE state. I am hoping you will correct this for your readers. Thank you.
