It’s been almost one week since Election Day, and I have finally digested what happened. I know many of you are nervous, stressed, and anxious. I am too. But, I am writing this short post because as a member of Gen Z, my fight is far from over.
For those of you who don’t know my background, I am from south Florida. I started college at the age of 14, graduated at the age of 18, and started law school at the age of 21. I knew that I wanted to be a lawyer to fight for civil rights and fight back against extremism. And so, I ended up graduating as one of the youngest in the country at just the age of 21.
Immediately after graduating law school, I decided that while practicing law was fun, it wasn’t the full path for me. So, I opened up a Twitter account, started to tweet, and ended up working on dozens of political campaigns.
Today, I am 25 years old, and while what happened last week was awful, it was far from the end of my fight. I know what it takes for Democrats to win and get back on track. I am going to increase the amount of posts on Substack and continue this fight that I started years ago. I hope you’ll join me too:
Thank you,
Aaron
Thank you for understanding the importance of what is happening now. I am 68. I will turn 69 in August. I remember when Roe v. Wade happened. I remember that women could not holsmd a credit card in their own name until the 1960s. We do not want to go back. Trust me. I lived it.
I’m with you AARON!
