Elon Musk Suffers Big Loss In Court As Trump Brings Religion To The White House | Morning News Rundown

With that, here is all the news you missed overnight:

• First, Elon Musk and DOGE suffered a major loss in court as a New York federal judge issued a temporary restraining order preventing Musk and DOGE from accessing any of the Treasury Department’s sensitive payment systems. In addition, the order requires the destruction of all documents obtained by DOGE from the Treasury Department since Trump took office. This temporary pause will be in place until February 14th at which point there will be a full hearing on the merits of the lawsuit filed by the New York Attorney General.

• Donald Trump has officially signed an executive order establishing the first ever White House Faith office that will be led by Rev. Paula White. The Faith Office’s goals will be to inject faith into the federal government. This comes days after Trump announced a task force to root out “anti-christian” bias in the United States.

• The Coast Guard has confirmed that the Bering Air flight that went missing yesterday in Western Alaska did crash. There were ten people aboard. It does not look like anyone made it.

• The LA Times has obtained a leaked document from the federal government acknowledging that there will likely be a massive immigration enforcement action taken in Los Angeles before the end of the month. Federal resources are currently being diverted to Los Angeles in preparation of this action.

• Donald Trump revoked President Biden’s security clearance in a new Truth Social post. The only problem for him is that as a former President, Joe Biden did not maintain a security clearance.

• The website for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau no longer works, as Musk and Trump target that agency next.
