This is a very untrue percentage. It’s like polling 10 Latinos and using 10 people to come up with a percentage of those in favor of Trump. I haven’t met anyone who has been polled. Have you?
I wouldn’t be surprised if they just counted them in favor for Trump. They likely lied and jacked up the votes. I wouldn’t be surprised , my first thoughts.
I don't know. It's baffling. Many of the Hispanics who are second generation or more in my area appear to look down on our current immigrants. They seem to have adopted the bigotry of some of their white neighbors as they are either "legal" or citizens. 🤔
I don't believe they realize that just being people of color puts them at risk. 😬
When will you people learn that CUBANS (first wave and their offspring) have always been Republicans. Most other Spanish speaking countries which includes 20 other countries who's people settle here and become citizens do NOT vote Republican (never ALL of anything, but generally speaking) so when you use the term "HISPANIC" you are categorizing people by their native language. I have a former friend who is a Cuban immigrant and I read today that he just removed protection against deportation for Cuban immigrants. She thinks he loves the Cubans. While I wouldn’t wish what he’s doing on anyone I wonder how long her loyalty will last if ICE shows up in her very Cuban dense neighborhood in Tampa.
Obviously, this 60% does not include those who are being kidnapped/roughed-up/yanked out of cars in front of their screaming children and wives/spouses, and then deported with zero due process, which the Constitution DEMANDS they be given. Folks, the crisis isn’t coming. It’s HERE! What are we gonna do about it? We are obviously on our own. Get out there! Get LOUD!!! Don’t let up!
