BREAKING: The White House Lied. Pete Hegseth Shared Classified Information.

The White House lied as new texts reveal Pete Hegseth sending classified information, Judge Boasberg has been assigned to the SignalGate lawsuit, and Democrats secure major victories in Pennsylvania

Good morning! Today is March 26th, and here’s your morning news rundown. Before I jump in—I want to say thank you. My work isn’t backed by billionaires or ad companies; it’s funded by you. With that, here is all the news you missed:

  • This morning, The Atlantic, published the full text thread concerning the strike on Yemen that has swept the nation by storm and shows that the White House has been lying to the public and that Tulsi Gabbard and John Ratcliffe may have lied to Congress. We now have screenshots of Pete Hegseth, the Secretary of Defense, sharing highly classified war plans in the Signal group chat, including the timing F-18s were taking off, the timing of first strikes, and more. This is a significant breach of trust, one that many believe will lead to Hegseth’s resignation. Read the full piece from The Atlantic here.

That’s not all. National Security Advisor Mike Waltz further sent intelligence concerning the impacts of the strike on the Signal chain. Remember, the White House, Tulsi Gabbard, and John Ratcliffe all claimed that no classified information was sent on this thread. They lied. This information from Hegseth, at the time it was sent, would have been classified.

  • In other news, Democrats secured a monumental victory in Pennsylvania last night. First, Democrats won the special election in State House District 35 by a healthy margin ensuring that they would take control of the State House. In addition, Democrats won a Trump +15 district by flipping State Senate District 36 by less than 1% of the vote. No one in the state expected the race to be close, let alone having Democrats win. This was a shock that has sent Republicans across the country scrambling. Upcoming elections include:

    • Wisconsin: April 1st, Supreme Court

    • Florida: April 1st, Florida’s 1st and Florida’s 6th Congressional districts

  • American Oversight, a nonpartisan watchdog organization, has filed a lawsuit against several high-ranking officials in the Trump administration, including Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, CIA Director John Ratcliffe, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

  • Judge James Boasberg has been assigned to preside over this case, which has been informally referred to as "Signalgate" in the media. You really cannot script this any better.

See you this evening.
