Minutes ago, the United States Supreme Court blocked the deportation of several individuals currently located in Texas under the Alien Enemies Act.
There was an urgent appeal filed earlier today seeking to block the deportations as the migrants did not receive sufficient due process. And well, they won, at least for now. Justice Thomas and Justice Alito dissented.
