Methinks ICE agents running through the courthouse (perhaps with guns drawn?) pose more of a “dangerous situation” than the actions of the judge. We are seeing more thuggery and more intimidation now. Trump et al is going way overboard.
I want to give credit to this judge for stepping up and doing what they believe is right. My guess is that this person would have been detained and “deported” aka kidnapped and sent to a foreign prison had the judge not stepped in. Who knows what happens now.

No. This sets a precedent for judges to fall in line and rule according to his desires/whims or be punished.
It will be solidified if proceedings are held before another judge who doesn’t live up to their oath and convicts this one.
