Today is March 30th, and here’s your morning news rundown. Before I jump in—I want to say thank you. My work isn’t backed by ad companies; it’s funded by you. Please consider becoming a paid subscriber today.

With that, here is all the news you missed:

  • Trump told NBC that he's fully set on acquiring Greenland and isn't ruling out using military force to make it happen. “We’re going to get Greenland. Absolutely,” he said. He also mentioned there’s a “strong chance we can do it peacefully,” but made it clear that “all options are still on the table.”

  • In a new interview with NBC, Trump said he "couldn't care less" if car companies hike up their prices—and even said he hopes they do. Tariffs on car companies are coming on April 2nd. 25% across the board.

  • Trump told NBC he has "no idea what Signal is" and doesn’t care to know, calling the scandal that's tanked his presidency a "witch hunt." He said he won’t take responsibility for the national security crisis and won’t fire anyone over it, claiming, "I don't fire people over fake news and witch hunts."

  • Trump on Iran told NBC: “If they don’t agree to a deal, there will be bombings like they’ve never seen before.”

  • Iran plans to target the joint US-UK naval base on Diego Garcia if the US launches an attack on its territory, according to The Telegraph.

  • Trump tells NBC he’s “angry” and “pissed off” at Putin.

  • Federal prosecutor Adam Schleifer was fired in Los Angeles on Friday at the White House’s direction, after lawyers for a fast-food executive he was prosecuting lobbied officials in D.C. to drop the charges, according to the LA Times.

  • Trump’s “Restoring Truth” executive order could lead to the return of removed Confederate monuments, according to Axios.

  • A federal judge has blocked the Trump administration’s attempt to dismantle Voice of America, calling it a “classic case of arbitrary and capricious decision making.”

  • Marko Elez, who was fired from the Treasury’s DOGE team over racist social media posts, was reportedly rehired by the Labor Department and assigned to HHS earlier this month.

See you this evening.
